In the course of scientific research, it turned out that the ice mountain was formed about 100 thousand years ago. Such a theory was presented today at the Cambridge Science Festival. The scientist also said that thanks to computer technology, experts were able to establish the route of the iceberg and its exact size.
In the course of research work, it turned out that the iceberg is much larger than was commonly believed. For example, its length is almost 520 meters, and the weight, according to preliminary data, is 75 metric tons. Recall that as a result of a shipwreck in 1912, 1,517 people died.
