Have you heard the scary news about the mysterious planet Nibiru? Of course we have, and probably more than once. So what is the planet Nibiru, little known as "Planet X"?

The riddle of the hypothetically existing planet Nibiru has been a hot food for controversy for a hundred years, and still cannot be solved by the burden of truth.

In fact, this giant celestial body is a hidden member of our solar system, floating around the sun in a long arc and at a leisurely pace.

The planet is inhabited by a race of aliens called the Annunaki, who were identified as the gods of ancient Mesopotamia in traditional mythology.

Every 3600 years or so, according to the late amateur mythologist Zechariah Sitchin, this wandering planet whistles past Earth, close enough for the Annunaki to descend to Earth.

On spaceships, they jump to our planet to teach us wisdom, while they watch us, fascinate us with their technological methods, especially when they work with our DNA, introducing strange codes into the genome.

The Sumerians and Babylonians mistook the Anunnaki for gods because they had no examples of aliens as aliens from another planet. But the "guests" who rarely come to Earth were highly developed in technology, which sharply distinguished them against the background of the general perception of the world.

Sitchin even blames the Anunnaki as the creators of the situation of enslavement, when aliens exploited ancient humanity (specially creating people) and actively stole our most valuable natural resources (especially gold).

- In such an unveiled view of the "gods", the Annunaki look like predatory space marauders, jumping from one planet to another in order to collect more gold. At the same time, in places suitable for habitation, they organize sources of intelligent life, which is logical in principle, since the market for cheap labor for hard labor is still empty.

Freely interpreting the texts of ancient Sumerian and Babylonian legends, Sitchin argued: thousands of markers have been identified that point to a story scenario involving ancient astronauts. This is the most complete and best explanation for the early cultural development of man in the Middle East.

There is plenty of evidence to represent Nibiru as the home of the invaders, Sitchin writes of this, pushing forward his radical thesis of alien intervention.

And interestingly, despite the abundance of ridicule from traditional mythologists and academic scholars, the idea has strangely taken root in society with very intriguing consequences.

Planet Nibiru = destruction of planet Earth?

Some independent researchers are convinced Nibiru will return in the very near future. It can happen any day, and we are powerless against it.

Specialists of this kind fear that this time Planet X will pass too close to Earth, thereby provoking a chain reaction of gravity-induced geological disasters (pole shifts, significant crustal movements, massive earthquakes, super-volcanic eruptions, etc.).

Proponents of the idea assure that evidence of the existence of Nibiru is abundant, mainly in the form of images captured by NASA and the Hubble telescope, which show how a planet dangerous to the system is hiding against the background of space.

However, skeptics strongly reject the presented evidence for the existence of Nibiru, calling it absolute bullshit. In fact, they regard Nibiru as an ugly hoax-hunters' fiction, where ordinary objects in space are misinterpreted by photographic effects (such as glare) as some kind of proving fact.

If Nibiru really is there, they say, then professional astronomers will have no problem identifying with obtaining clear images, or detecting an object by gravitational effects in the orbits of the outer planets.

- And yet, as you can see, there is no solid evidence of the absence / presence of the mysterious planet Nibiru on the outskirts of the system in both camps of researchers.

Unsurprisingly, Nibiru fanatics with the Anunnaki civilization reacted vividly to the claims from Sitchin. They remain convinced the evidence for Nibiru is real, and Sitchin's sort of dissertation on the tenth planet is solid.

Worse, they see in Nibiru a terrible "secret conspiracy", they say, obvious evidence will become available if the government does not hide the fact of the existing threat emanating from the planet wandering in the darkness and cold of space.

But the governments of course will not tell the truth, because then there will be premature chaos in society, because in order to have time to save the reigning personalities, one must delay the discovery of the truth until the last minute.

Believe, "the end of the world" is coming

Initially, Nibiru enthusiasts declared the "end of the world" for 2003 - a signifying planet to appear in the Earth's sky in all the glory of a second Sun. When that didn't happen, they changed the year to 2012, coinciding with the end of the world with the end of the Mayan calendar - which turned out to be another blunder.

- It is curious, but by these dates there was a sharp demand for individual shelters, apparently people were going to survive on the Earth that was fatally split into trash.

At this point, there seems to be no compelling reason to believe in Nibiru, or to take the offered evidence on a very solid basis.

However, this will not deter the true believers in Planet X from putting a lot of energy into making its story believable. They are not going to admit that they have been chasing their own tails for years.
