Probably all of you have heard and seen the prophecies in the animated series "The Simpsons", I am pretty skeptical of them, but many believe and this creates a kind of aura of mystery around this animated series.
But few people know that the authors of The Simpsons also have a project called Futurama, so we'll talk about it today.
This animated series is already on the move, at the beginning of the first episode of the first season, it gives out a very interesting Easter egg. In the video, it starts at 1:49, see and analyze in detail.
We see how time flies and epochs change. Let's look at the steps.
1. The civilization in which Fry lived to the ground is destroyed by aliens. Significant, but let's say this is just a joke.
2. We see how a tall forest grows out of nothing. Here it is more interesting, because this is a reference to the theme of the absence of forests on the planet at the beginning of the 20th century. 3. And here it is quite interesting. Medieval castles "grow" near the forest! Let me remind you that Fry is our contemporary. What did the authors want to say with this fragment? The fact that our civilization will be replaced by a medieval one, or that before the Middle Ages we know there was a civilization comparable to ours in development? Or maybe the medieval castles that we see are not really medieval ones ??? There are a lot of questions, but most importantly, I doubt that the writers of the series are stupid and this fragment appeared for a reason.

4. The "Middle Ages" are also completely destroyed by the same aliens. That is, the aliens periodically erase civilizations on our planet. Are the authors of the cartoon hinting about this?
5. And only after the next (not the last?) Destruction of civilization, the end point of Fry's temporary journey appears before us, namely the civilization of the future.
6. Pay attention to another detail, the time interval of the change of epochs is 1000 years, it is this figure that appeared on the timer of the cryochamber. That is, the authors, literally, tell us that for a thousand years there were three human civilizations on the planet, two of which were completely destroyed by aliens.
That is, if Easter eggs in The Simpsons are turned to the future, then Easter eggs in Futurama are turned to the past. This is a pun, the series in the title, which has the word "future" tells us about the past.
