If you have not heard about flying turtles, then today is the same day.

A very unusual incident occurred the other day on a road in the US state of South Carolina. John Gardner quietly drove to work in his car this morning on Highway 501 in Conway, near Lake Busby. And suddenly something dark at great speed crashed into his windshield.

Shards of glass showered John from head to toe and instinctively hit the brake. When he regained consciousness, he found that nothing more than an ordinary turtle sticking out in the windshield.

How exactly the turtle acquired the ability to fly was not immediately understood. Apparently, the reptile was slowly crossing the road and unfortunately fell under the wheels of a truck driving in front of John's car. However, the wheel only slid over the hard shell, simultaneously giving the turtle strong horizontal acceleration.

However, even in this case, it was simply incredible that the turtle flew into the windshield, not lower or higher. This could be seen in films like Destination rather than in reality.

The turtle itself did not survive the flight and died from a strong blow.

When John was hit on the glass by a turtle, the driver of the truck in front of him braked and got out to check if John was injured. It was then that they decided that the turtle had probably gotten under the rear wheels of the truck and therefore "fired" at the car driving next.

This most often happens with small bolts and other objects lying on the roads. There are cases when people who were just standing on the side of the road died from a bolt flying out from under the wheels of a car.
