The remains of an adult "tyrannosaurus" were found, the height of which did not exceed a meter.
The monster from "Jurassic Park" found a miniature twin brother. Its almost complete skeleton was discovered back in 1998 during excavations in the state of New Mexico. Sterling Nesbitt, then a 16-year-old student with an interest in paleontology, and now a professor at the Department of Geosciences in the Virginia Tech College of Science, came across them.

The remains lay idle for a long time. Only recently, a professor and his colleagues carefully looked at them and came to the conclusion that the bones belong to a previously unknown predatory lizard, similar to Tyrannosaurus rex, only small - about 10 times smaller. The baby was 90 centimeters tall and weighed a little over 40 kilograms. His identification was reported by the Рhys.org portal with reference to the journal Nature Ecology & Evolution.
A miniature copy of the Tyrannosaurus was named Suskityrannus hazelae. This name is a mixture of Latin and Indian language. Translated means "tyrant-coyote".

Paleontologists have recreated the appearance of the "raptor coyote". And they say: he ran fast and bit hard. Lived about 92 million years ago. He hunted animals of his own size, but which ones are not known. He died at the age of 3.
Nesbitt covered his Suskityrannus hazelae with feathers. But were the baby lizards really fluffy like chickens? Is not a fact. Nowadays, the prevailing opinion is that the skin of predatory dinosaurs was still covered with scales.
