Almost from the very foundation, Tomsk is surrounded by many legends and myths. This article contains events, the fame of which went far beyond the borders of the region and received an all-Russian resonance.

House with Kikimora

In 1887, the first case of a poltergeist was officially recorded in Tomsk. The "noisy spirit" or as it was then called "Kikimora" settled in the house of the merchant Kolotilov, at Gagarin, 14. It is known that every day, after 16:00, people passing by heard a loud knocking from inside the house. At the same time, the people who were inside heard sounds from outside. No one could explain the nature of these sounds, and there was no reason why they were heard. To look at the inexplicable phenomenon, whole crowds of people gathered near the house, and the police department even opened a case on the leprosy of the so-called "Kikimora".

So the belief about the first case of a poltergeist appeared. The rumor about the devilry even reached the Tomsk governor - Alexei Fedorovich Anisin. He was an educated man, enlightened, therefore, despite the scale of rumors that were circulating throughout the city, he refused to believe in the nature of the anomalous and supernatural. Aleksey Fedorovich ordered to assemble a competent commission, consisting of an engineer, an architect and a police chief, in order to find a natural scientific explanation for what was happening and once and for all dispel rumors about the existence of a kikimora. How the case ended is unknown. As well as there is no information about the final conclusions of the commission. Probably, the archival document was lost, or, perhaps, it was simply decided not to show it to anyone. Another thing is known: the merchant eventually demolished the ill-fated house, and in its place in 1891 he built another, already stone one. True nowthis structure again resembles a haunted house in its appearance.

Poltergeist in Light

The case of the appearance of a poltergeist in the house of the merchant Kolotilov is not the only one. At least one more was recorded in the village of Svetly in 1999. There, in the apartment of a multi-storey building in the Kislyakov family, abnormal things also suddenly began to happen: objects moved by themselves, flew, disappeared and even caught fire. The poltergeist himself received the name "Fotyma", since this name a strange spirit once called itself. Yes, yes … According to the shocked tenants, the entity had a voice and speech, could talk with visitors to the apartment and even argue. In the 90s, this case received a huge response, and news of the incident reached the regional administration, which agreed to provide assistance to researchers of the paranormal. The seriousness can be judged at least by the factthat during the filming of the documentary about the drum, Governor Victor Kress personally gave his comments to journalists. Only in the local Tomsk press about the Svetlensky poltergeist were published four dozen articles, each of which detailed the events in the village, indicating specific witnesses of the anomalous phenomenon. This case undoubtedly became one of the brightest and most controversial outbreaks of the "noisy spirit" phenomenon on the territory of Russia. Researchers reported a record number of anomalous episodes recorded (according to their estimates, about ten thousand). A documentary was made about the events in the Kislyakovs' apartment, and the investigation of the case was headed by researchers from the Tomsk Ecological Center "Biolon" under the leadership of Viktor Fefelov. By the way, Fefelov personally, together with the tenants of the apartment, witnessed the activity of "Fotyma" and even entered into conversations with the entity, which he then recorded on a video camera and a dictaphone (all these records can still be found on the Internet). The poltergeist's speech, interestingly, was not abstract and unreasonable. The entity seemed to be conscious. So, in one of the conversations, they talked about the city, and about seventy names of really existing famous people of Tomsk were named as a poltergeist, followed by their characteristics. It is also known about a photo experiment carried out by a group of researchers. All the events that took place are described in detail in Fefelov's documentary research.

The staff of the "Biolon" center argue that the events that took place in the apartment cannot be explained in any way, except from the point of view of "poltergeist" activity.

Maraxa

Another case of anomalous activity occurred in the winter of 2018 in the village of Maraksa, Kolpashevsky district. And this is the last known case of the "poltergeist" phenomenon to date. As you know, in a private house at some point, objects began to move by themselves, a wardrobe fell, books flew off the shelves. And the incident received a resonance after the police report got on the Internet. In it, a law enforcement officer describes and confirms the anomalous nature of the actions taking place in the apartment. However, not only the policeman became an eyewitness of the inexplicable, the representative of the Kolpashevo diocese also saw the consequences of the poltergeist. However, no one has conducted any research into what happened. The reason is simple - the terrified residents of the house flatly refused to let strangers in.

By the way, our journalists were also in Marx in those days. And they also tried to talk to the owners of the house, but none of them were found. Having decided to remove the building at least from the street, they unexpectedly recorded a strange movement in the apartment. The curtain on the window suddenly began to shake.

However, about Markasy, many researchers still believe that all events were falsified. Currently, the hype around the Zhukov family has subsided, and what is happening there at the moment is unknown. No new mystical news was received, which means that the poltergeist, if it existed, simply disappeared.

Grave Cape

The grave cape is located at the same distance from the villages of Vostochnoye and Vargater. The name itself arose in the mid-1980s, after scientists became interested in a strange area of terrain with an area of three hundred meters. Legends about this place existed long before the interest of scientists.

According to local residents, the first oddities of this inexplicable place can be felt already when approaching a large forest cape. Here, above the hill, even on the sunniest day there is a haze or fog. When approaching him, a person begins to feel emotional discomfort, turning into a feeling of hopelessness. But, what is most interesting, even the physical condition worsens: the heart rate increases and the pressure rises. You cannot see animals and birds around the cape, hunters bypass this place. Eyewitnesses say that they saw UFOs here, met with creatures that looked like gnomes, and discovered ancient burials of the Kulay people, whose evil spirits still allegedly roam this place. In general, the volume of legends and legends is large, but one thing unites them - all stories are somehow connected with mysticism and supernatural phenomena.

Sverdlovsk journalist Mikhail Glukhov became the first researcher of the "accursed" place. While on a business trip, he stopped in the village of Vostochny, where he learned from local residents about the area. A Ural reporter described in his diaries the sensations of being on the Mogilnoye Cape: "… absolute silence reigns on the cape, which is not disturbed by the rustle of cedar branches or the singing of birds, and the earth is covered with cold darkness." The further Glukhov moved to the tip of the Mogilny Cape, the more anxious and sad it became in his soul. Soon, these gloomy sensations made him turn back. After Mikhail Glukhov, several more expeditions went to the Mogilny Cape region, but they also did not give any intelligible answers about what was happening in this area.

At present, the opinion of scientists, explaining the strange nature of the place, agreed that there are magnetic fields created by iron ore rocks, which lie in the area of the cape at a depth of only about ten meters. Such a close location of a rich iron ore deposit leads to the junction of positive and negative fields, which in general becomes the reason for the manifestation of anomalous features of the area. In addition, under the cape and nearby lakes, there is a rather significant geo-fault, which can also contribute to the manifestation of the anomalousness of the adjacent territories.

Researchers of the anomalous believe that the cult building of antiquity also had a significant impact on the energy of the place. The fact is that an ancient Kulai burial was discovered on the territory of the cape. And the inhabitants of the nearby villages, according to stories, even saw the ghosts of the Kulays. One way or another, there are still no answers. The grave cape continues to attract researchers and has retained an aura of mystery for many years.

Sadina - an ancient underground city near Tomsk

One of the city's most important legends is the legend of the underground city called Sadina. In this case, we will not talk about any paranormal phenomena or mysticism, the legend of Sadness is interesting in itself. Agree, few cities can boast of such large-scale structures under the ground, the size of which is comparable to a whole city, but the researchers are sure that an ancient city stood on the site of modern Tomsk a long time ago and passages from it in different districts of Tomsk can still be found. Some believe that the catacombs were used by robbers and marauders to store loot. Others agree that the underground paths were intended for the needs of the city authorities. And, finally, the last theory says that underground paths and structures are part of the ancient city of "Sadness", which, over the centuries, sank underground. This theory was taken for the subject of his research by the historian and ethnographer Nikolai Sergeevich Novgorodov, who collected his historical studies and dressed them in an artistic look in the book "Siberian Lukomorye". In the process of writing, the author relied on a huge number of sources: the Aryan Vedas and Avesta, the Sumerian-Babylonian texts, Herodotus, Rashidaddin, Snorri Sturlusson and many other medieval authors, research by scientists of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. (the list of references at the end of the book consists of 180 titles). Snorri Sturlusson and many other medieval authors, research by scholars of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The sources are supplemented by the author's linguistic and cartographic discoveries. Evidence of the existence of the ancient city can be found even on medieval maps, where the name "Sadness" is even indicated.

In his book, Novgorodov writes about the emergence of Sadness, its origins, prerequisites for the emergence, creates and describes a whole chronicle of the existence of the mysterious city. It is difficult to say which genre the book belongs to - a historical report or fiction, but one fact remains: in his work, the writer analyzes the facts and evidence of the existence of Sadness as plausibly and scrupulously as possible, and to believe it or not is the choice of every reader.
