Despite the fact that Adolf Hitler died in 1945, his death was predicted already in 1937. “If Hitler starts a war in the east, he will die,” said the artist at the Warsaw Theater when asked about a possible Nazi invasion of Poland.
One of the artist's statements infuriated Hitler so much that he promised 20,000 Reichsmarks for his capture.
The man was arrested and sent to prison. However, he briefly lingered within the walls of German cells. The man had the gift of hypnosis. He managed to hypnotize the prison staff by convincing them that diamonds were scattered on the floor of the cell. While the Nazi guards rushed to collect non-existent stones, the man left the cell never to fall into their clutches again. This man was the great Wolf Messing.
Wolf Messing was born on September 10, 1899 in the Polish town of Gura Kalwaria into an Orthodox Jewish family. His father worked as a gardener and the Messings lived in sheer poverty. Nevertheless, little Wolf was sent to school to learn to read and write. Even as a small child, he demonstrated phenomenal memory. For example, by the age of six he knew by heart the entire Talmud - a large religious Jewish text.
Escape from home
Little Wolf was not only an intelligent child, but also possessed some special abilities. One day, at sunset hours, he met a large white figure urging him to become a student of a Jewish religious school. True, a little later it turned out that this scene was set up by his father - he dreamed that his son would become the new religious leader! But the effect turned out to be exactly the opposite - the boy did not fall into religion, but, on the contrary, began to fear God. Unable to withstand the pressure of his father in religious matters, Wolf decided to run away from home. But he was really special and life soon proved it.

When Wolf left home, he was only 11 years old and his pockets were empty. In order to get at least some money, he went to theft - pulled out 18 pennies from Jewish donations for Palestine. Then, without asking, he dug several bushes of potatoes from someone else's garden and went to Berlin. It was on this trip that his abilities were fully revealed.
Of course, the boy could not buy any ticket - he was riding a hare. When the controller asked him to present a ticket, Wolf held out a piece of white paper, mentally suggesting that he was showing a valid ticket. And it worked! Wolff was smart enough to understand that he possessed the gift of telepathy and could control the minds and actions of people.
After arriving in Berlin, Messing worked diligently to develop his talent. Before the outbreak of World War II, he got a job in a circus and toured a lot in Europe. He soon became known throughout the Old World as an excellent mind reader.
They say that Wolf met with Freud and Einstein in the latter's apartment. Freud wanted to test how telepathy works, so he mentally sent Messing a task. He got up, left the room, took a pair of tweezers and pulled out a couple of hairs from Einstein's mustache - everything as he was instructed!
Messing in the USSR
During World War II, Messing fled to the USSR. Here he continued his career as a telepathic artist. Once his performance was unexpectedly interrupted - the Soviet militiamen took Wolf right from the stage. He was sent to Moscow to appear before the most important person in the country - Joseph Stalin.
Intrigued by rumors of Wolf's extraordinary gift, the secretary general decided to personally test his abilities. He demanded - neither more nor less - to rob the bank!
By order of Stalin, Messing, alone and without weapons, went to the Moscow State Bank. There he went to the checkout and after a couple of minutes handed a newspaper page to the hypnotized cashier. The woman resignedly pulled out 100,000 rubles from the safe and gave them to Wolf.
Upon learning of this episode, Stalin was greatly impressed. He invited the artist to his dacha. It must be said that Stalin's dacha was one of the most guarded and fortified objects of the USSR at that time. Imagine the leader's surprise when Messing suddenly went to his office without a call or any warning. Wolff explained to him that he had mentally instilled in numerous guards that he was the head of the secret police.
The psychic abilities of Wolf Messing were subjected to more and more new tests. At a meeting with Mahatma Gandhi, he mentally ordered him to take a flute from the table and give it to someone in the room. Gandhi obeyed. Seriously ill, he died during surgery in 1974.
