Users of the well-known resource Reddit have recently published a lot of photos, which, presumably, captured ghosts or some other paranormal activity.
In the section of the site dedicated to supernatural phenomena, heated debate continues as to whether the pictures below demonstrate: something that goes beyond the usual or something that can be explained quite rationally. Hoaxes, pareidolic illusions and camera malfunctions are indeed possible, however, according to experts, in many images, in fact, phantoms are captured - people from another world.
Orbs in Port Arthur
A resident of Australia recently visited the city of Port Arthur on the Tasman Peninsula and accidentally photographed mysterious white balls flying in the air.
The first photo was taken in the memorial grove, planted in honor of the fallen soldiers, and the second - when leaving the former convict prison, which is rumored to be inhabited by ghosts. As a reminder, supernatural researchers call these balls orbs. Orbs, according to experts, are entities from the subtle world that are difficult to see with the naked eye, but can be recorded in a photograph or video.

Fat ghost on a country road
Many site users thought that this phantom looked like a yeti. However, the author of the publication claims that it is still a ghost.
According to him, he went with his comrades to the house where a major shootout with the victims recently took place. The group moved along a country road and illuminated their path with flashlights. At a certain moment, it seemed to friends that someone was following him. They turned around and even photographed the space behind them, but did not notice anything unusual. Only after looking through the photographs obtained that night, the man discovered on one of them this obese, whitish figure - it was, presumably, she was following the "hunters".
Girl on a chair
A couple of years ago, the author of this post worked with his aunt in a clothing store. A relative of a man once photographed an empty chair in their boutique and forgot about it.
Only the other day, she accidentally stumbled upon this picture while looking through the contents of her old phone. The woman was shocked when she saw in the image a translucent human figure sitting on the same chair. The ghost captured by the camera resembles a girl with shoulder-length hair. Toothy creature on the ceiling
Most commentators spotted in this picture a mysterious eerie entity with an elongated head, toothy mouth and a strange body like a turtle.
The user reports that his good friend was lying before going to bed and, having nothing to do, was photographing the ceiling above her, immediately looking at the images she received. Having made another photo, the girl suddenly saw this creature on it. The frightened lady immediately jumped out of bed and turned on the light, but there was no one in her bedroom. A pale man in an old building
The building shown in this photograph was built during the slave days in the United States. According to the author of the photo, a small building is located just 150 meters from his own home and serves as a storeroom for the neighbors for garden tools.
Passing by this place recently, an American noticed in the darkness of the room a strange silhouette, similar to a man chained in chains. The man hurried to get out his smartphone and take a picture of the phantom. As he approached the building, the anomaly immediately disappeared. But, to the surprise of our hero, the alleged ghost was captured relatively well in the photograph.
Phantom woman on an ocean liner
This photo was taken aboard the British liner "Queen Mary 2". One of the passengers left her cabin at night and went for a walk to the pool.
Once there, she took several photos at intervals of just a couple of seconds. Strikingly, one of the images showed a vague silhouette of a woman with long hair and a white robe, while the rest of the images were empty. Photos were taken without flash or night mode, so the phantom was not captured very clearly. However, the ghostly woman sitting over the pool and looking directly at the photographer can still be discerned.
Orb near an abandoned hospital
Another orb was captured the other day by a resident of Saratoga County, New York. The American walked at night near an abandoned hospital and decided to rent an empty dark building.
No creepy ghosts were photographed in the windows of the former hospital, but a glowing white ball appeared in one of the pictures. Skeptics believe that these balls are just specks of dust or insects in the light of the flash. But researchers of paranormal phenomena argue that orbs are not as simple as they seem at first glance. They are distinguished from insects by intelligent behavior, and they have nothing to do with dust particles at all and only a non-professional can confuse them with dust.
Ghosts of man and sheep in the cemetery
The next picture doesn't look too serious, but let's not jump to conclusions. The author of the photo claims to have received the image of two ghosts while walking through a cemetery in his city.
In this case, one ghost, they say, belongs to a person, and the other belongs to a sheep. Is this a phantom shepherd with his cattle? Cases of observation of ghostly animals have been known from time immemorial, and this incident, perhaps, is no exception. Unfortunately, the author of the publication refused to show the users of the resource the original of his photograph, from where he cut out this fuzzy fragment with the alleged spirits of man and animal.
Shadow man in the apartment
A tall and dark anthropomorphic figure was captured on camera in the apartment of a Reddit user. The man, who lives alone, explains that he established surveillance after furniture began to move spontaneously in his apartment.
The camera works automatically and takes a photo every time it detects movement in its field of view. One of the nights when our hero was absent from home, the device took this picture. The owner of the dwelling is convinced that the photo captures a shadow man - a creature from urban legends that can only be captured with peripheral vision or through recording equipment.
Ghost figure in the museum
The last photo in our selection was taken in pitch darkness by an aspiring ghost hunter from the English city of Nottingham. The researcher visited the local National Museum of Justice with his comrades and, finding himself in the basement of the building, took many pictures there in the hope of catching something supernatural.
And one of the images did show something curious. The barely visible transparent figure seemed to be approaching the group at the moment this photo was taken.
