The President of Venezuela has always been sure that he got sick for a reason. One of the most shocking world leaders, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who died of cancer, said during his lifetime that his illness was not an accident.

Chavez claimed that the Americans provoked his cancer with the help of secret biotechnology. It also seemed to Chavez very suspicious that it was the Latin American presidents, who were uncomfortable for America, who fell ill with cancer one after another.

“Would it be surprising if we found out that the US has developed a secret technology for infecting cancer? I am not blaming anyone, I am just thinking about the reasons that we all got cancer at the same time,”said the Venezuelan president.

Thus, the head of Argentina was diagnosed with thyroid cancer almost simultaneously with Chavez, the ex-president of Brazil was diagnosed with cancer of the larynx, and the current head of Brazil was diagnosed with cancer of the lymphatic system. Against this background, the region started talking about biological weapons. And the medical history of the commandant in Venezuela will generally be investigated by a special commission.

"We have no doubt that the president's illness was the result of a conspiracy of his enemies, but this is a serious topic and scientists must investigate it," said Venezuelan Vice President Nicolas Maduro.

Scientists know how to infect animals with cancer

This topic is no longer news for oncologists and researchers. However, world science does not know a single fact when a person was deliberately provoked an oncological disease. Although various scientists at different times tried to do this, in particular, experimenting on their own body.

Promotional video:

At the beginning of the 19th century, the French surgeon Jean Albert injected himself with an extract of a malignant tumor, the Italian researcher Carla Fonti repeated the experiment in the middle of the 20th century, in the 70s in America, several scientists and prisoners were injected with cancer cells. Not a single person got sick.

Since then, the scientific community has banned such bold experiments. And biotechnology has made a leap forward. Ukrainian scientist Hryhoriy Potebnya says that what was previously impossible is now simply done on animals.

“We can take a piece of a malignant tumor from mice and inoculate healthy animals, and they will grow the same tumor almost 100% of the time. Theoretically, it is possible to induce and inoculate a tumor in any living organism, including humans, but the only thing is that practically no one did it,”Potebnya noted.

Also, science has already proven that some types of cancer provoke viruses that can infect a person.

In particular, the papilloma virus causes cervical cancer in women, the Helicobacter bacterium affects the formation of malignant stomach tumors, the hepatitis B and C virus causes liver cancer. But it can take tens of years from getting the virus into the body to cancer. And it is impossible that the disease manifests itself simultaneously in several people.

Whether it is possible to deliberately infect a person with cancer is an open question. Chavez himself assured that the world would know the answer no earlier than half a century later.
