You can get lost in the forest, desert, mountains, sea, finally. But is it possible to get lost in time?

On May 3, 1757, gardener Alberto Gordoni was digging up tulip bulbs and suddenly … suddenly disappeared. Only 22 years later, he returned, and he looked not at all aged. Gordoni's wife decided that the illegitimate son of scoundrel Albert had come to take possession of the property. And although Gordoni tried to talk about his misadventures, his wife did not believe him. As a result, he ended up in a psychiatric hospital, where the doctor only seven years later guessed to delve into his crazy story. Alberta told him that he had fallen into a certain tunnel, at the end of which he saw a humanoid creature whose hair on his head was like dandelion fluff. "Dandelion" made it clear to Alberto that he fell into a "crack" in time, it would not be easy to bring him back, but he will try …

The doctor convinced the judge of the town of Tuscany, the carabinieri and other respected people to conduct an experiment that could rehabilitate Alberto in the eyes of his fellow citizens. Gordoni, in full view of hundreds of people, once again stepped to the same place and … disappeared again, but forever.

When I read this story, I thought: why not first throw a stone there? It turned out silly. The wife lost her husband for the second time, and the shocked Tuscans fenced off the "devil's place" with an iron chain so that no one else would get there.

The existence of chronal portals (“time cracks”) is also confirmed by a strange story kept in the archives of the city of Marseille. In 1951, a young Belgian woman, Bernadette Laurel, spent her holidays there. One day she wandered into an old park, sat down on a bench, and suddenly saw a small church nearby, as if out of the ground.

Surprised, Bernadette went to the church and found herself in a small cemetery. Now, instead of sprinkled with sand paths of the park and mowed lawns, rickety crosses appeared in front of her. The girl was about to turn back, when suddenly a funeral procession, consisting of poorly dressed people, came out of the door of the church.

Bernadette ran back in horror. And when I looked back, I saw neither the church nor the cemetery!

Miss Laurel contacted the city archives. It turned out that before the French Revolution, it was in this place that the poor were buried. Then the cemetery was abandoned, and at the end of the last century a park was laid out here.

Bernadette told her story to reporters. The article accidentally caught the eye of Professor Bergier, a student of the famous Camille Flammarion, who devoted many years to researching anomalous phenomena. Bergier turned to Paul Deschamp, an assistant in the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry at the University of Marseille, and asked him to investigate.

Later, meticulous parapsychologists made their way to the police archives of Marseille. They were interested in cases of inexplicable disappearances of people in the area of the park where Bernadette was walking. It turned out that in the last five years alone, 28 people disappeared without a trace! They are probably irrevocably stuck in the past.

But, alas, it was not possible to open the “door” in the 19th century.

Then Deschamp decided to continue the investigation in a different direction. If the “door to the past” was opened periodically, then it is quite acceptable for people to enter our time from there … Where to look for them? Of course, in a psychiatric hospital!..

Among the patients of the clinic for the mentally ill was a certain Jacques Travee, who was arrested six months ago for stealing bread. The thief looked 50 years old. He claimed that he was born in 1741 in a suburban village, worked as a loader in the port, and was married. One day he drank hard with a friend, fell somewhere, and when he woke up, he decided that he had fallen to the next world … A characteristic detail: Jacques described the realities of life in the 18th century so thoroughly that a venerable historian could envy him.

Many archival and church documents of that time were seriously damaged during the French Revolution, so it was not possible to find information about the birth of Traves. The medical department joined the investigation. It turned out that Trases had no traces of smallpox vaccination. The chronic traveler practically lacked immunity to tuberculosis and a number of other infectious diseases.

These data, by order of the Minister of Health, were immediately classified, and the research was stopped. The "newcomer from the past" was transferred to another hospital, with a more strict regime of detention, where he died of tuberculosis!..

Already today, in the Indian Ocean, one dry-cargo ship was caught in the most severe storm, which suddenly ended. The sun began to shine, and an old sailing ship under a black pirate flag appeared on the horizon! The sailboat went to approach, and boarding hooks flew onto the dry cargo ship, and pirates climbed aboard the ship, waving sabers … The captain had an automatic weapon, he had to fight. One pirate was killed, others fled in terror. When the cargo ship arrived at the port of destination, it turned out that it was two months late! The shipowner was threatened with a huge penalty, and the captain - with dismissal. And then he presented the logbook, grappling hooks and a saber. Metallurgical examination showed that the hooks and saber were made of metal smelted using the technology of the 17th century. The captain was acquitted!

Cases of a different kind have been noted, when in our time there were people from … the future. One such chronic traveler came to the USSR in 1946 from 2010! He had an ID card with a color photograph, which in 1948 was not yet, and in his pockets during a search policemen found Marlboro cigarettes and several other things that simply could not have been that year. The guy was taken away by the Chekists, and one of the policemen who was present at the time (at that time a senior lieutenant), already today told the ace this to his daughter …
