Modern science does not recognize the possibility of time travel. But there are dozens of cases when people declare themselves aliens from the past or the future.
In recent years, several videos have appeared on the Internet in which unknown persons claim that they have arrived in our time from the future. To prove their non-temporal origin, they talk about events that are about to happen in the near future. Since many of the records were made ten years ago, it can be understood that most of their predictions did not come true. Therefore, the video is nothing more than a prank. True, as if one of the "hitmen" predicted Trump's election. But we haven't come across this video yet.
Travelers from the past are another matter. There are a lot of such stories on the net, and some seem quite believable.
For example, the case that happened in New York in the 50s of the XX century. On a busy street, a pedestrian in old-fashioned clothes was hit. He died instantly under the wheels of a car, the driver of which claimed that there was no way to brake - the pedestrian appeared suddenly, as if he had fallen from the sky. The police tried to identify the victim. In the pocket of his coat, he found a document issued 80 years ago. The deceased turned out to be a traveling salesman and lived on a street that was demolished half a century ago. I had to turn to the archives, in which they found a list of residents of the area indicated in the document, and among them - the name of the victim in the accident.
The police even managed to find the victim's daughter. She said that her father disappeared without a trace 70 years ago. She also found a photograph of her father, dated April 1884. The picture showed the same person who died in the center of New York under the wheels of a car.
And here is another case when the identity of the victim was confirmed using archives.
In the late 80s of the last century, in one of the psychiatric clinics in Hong Kong, an unusual patient appeared - a boy named Yun Li Chen, who claimed that he came from the past. He did not look like a madman, and his homespun clothing was typical of medieval China. The boy spoke one of the ancient Chinese dialects and told interesting stories about his life, showing amazing knowledge of the distant past. Scientists became interested in this phenomenon, but suddenly the boy disappeared, although he was in a closed ward under the vigilant supervision of doctors.

His trace was discovered in ancient temple books by the historian Ying Shao. One of their chronicles reported that Yun Li Chen disappeared for ten years, and then suddenly returned, and during this time he did not mature at all. The boy began to talk about what he saw in the future - iron birds, self-propelled carts, houses rising to the clouds. Contemporaries did not believe him and considered him crazy. Three weeks after his return, the time traveler died suddenly.
And there are many such cases - on the network you can find stories of planes, steam locomotives and submarines lost in time. It is not possible to check their reliability.
The examples we have given can also be questioned. All of them may well be an invention of newspapermen, since no documentary evidence accompanies these publications. Neither photographs of a traveling salesman - a New Yorker, nor photocopies of ancient temple books from the stories of the boy Yun Li Chen were found on the Internet. Only numerous retellings of these stories.
