On the one hand, it was necessary to get relatively close to the yeti in order for the picture or recording to be of high quality, and on the other hand, it was worth, of course, keeping a safe distance so that the monster would not attack you. After all, no one knows how aggressive Bigfoot is.
Today, in the age of technological progress, video hunting of the alleged relict hominid can be done using radio-controlled multicopters. Modern commercial drones are capable of covering a couple of kilometers, capturing everything that happens on the ground with a camera. So, last year we wrote about a resident of Idaho, who managed to capture a large primate with a drone, running at high speed across a green field.
Earlier this year, another resident of the United States, this time from Oregon, was similarly lucky. The video below was captured in January this year near the South Fork Mackenzie River in the vicinity of the Cougar Reservoir. A man with a passion for high-altitude wildlife photography used a Phantom 3 Advanced quadcopter with satellite navigation. The American did not even suspect that a creature unknown to science would get into the lens of his device in a snowy forest.
Impressive Bigfoot Video
Despite the fact that the flight height of the device was about 760 meters, the sasquatch was filmed with a video camera quite well. The owner of the drone, however, did not see the mysterious stranger on the remote control screen and noticed him only later, having viewed the material received at home on a computer. According to the American, he was shocked by his find and immediately rushed to share it with the public.
The footage shows a dark humanoid animal on the right bank of the river. It walks in the snow between trees near the water. The erect and broad-shouldered creature moves with wide strides - possibly due to the fact that it is buried with its feet in the snow. At some point, the drone flies directly over the yeti. The original footage is over ten minutes long and is the only scene where Bigfoot is visible. But it was enough to cause a stir among cryptozoologists, researchers of supernatural phenomena and ordinary users of the World Wide Web.
Many experts, after analyzing the video, came to the conclusion that it shows a real sasquatch. But skeptics on the Internet are convinced that this is a hiker or hunter. However, why then does he not have a backpack, equipment and a gun? And in general, if this is really a person, then obviously in some kind of gorilla costume. Hence a quite reasonable question arises: what is this disguised eccentric doing away from civilization in a severe frost? Moreover, experts note that the filmed animal moves with a gait that is very characteristic of a Bigfoot. In any case, people don't walk like that …
