A pensioner from Vladimir Yulia Sinitsina learned from the newspaper that the building of the local cafe "Blinchiki" was going to be demolished and a church built in its place.
She read that many are unhappy with this fact and decided to recall the mystical story associated with the old cinema, which stood in the late 40s on the site of "Pancakes". Yulia Grigorievna says that terrible and inexplicable things happened in him:
-It was in the late 40s and early 50s. We often went with my cousin to the old cinema. At that time my aunt worked as supervisors in it. She was a believer woman. She told us that before the cinema there was a temple of the Mother of God, to which she herself went as a little girl, - Yulia Grigorievna recalls, - Once, at one movie show, there was a loud woman crying. It seemed to penetrate the space and echo from the walls.
Later, in the cinema, they began to hear the cry of a child who echoed the woman's. Once in the hall, while watching a film, the walls seemed to shake and it seemed like bricks fell. People ran out of the cinema in fear. This mysticism was repeated more than once. Aunt, in spite of all our persuasion, stopped letting us into the cinema. She said: "There is nothing to dance and have fun on the holy land!"
Yulia Sinitsina recalls that rumors circulated around the city about strange phenomena that frighten cinema visitors. They said that the Mother of God was walking on it and crying. People have become afraid to go to the movies. And because of the lack of demand, the cinema was demolished. After that, the Pancakes were built instead.
-Soon a church will appear in their place. I think this should calm the Mother of God. She no longer wakes up to cry, and justice will be restored, - this is how the pensioner concluded her amazing story.
Let us recall that recently Patriarch Kirill laid the first stone of the church, which will be on the site of the "Pancakes".
