Three decades ago, a Japanese diver discovered a massive stone complex underwater near Yonaguni, in the southwest of the Japanese archipelago. Scientists have determined that the structure was built more than 14 thousand years ago.
This find prompted many to look for her "paranormal" explanations.
The structure of huge boulders discovered by Kihachiro Aratake resembles a multi-level pyramid the size of two football fields.
The underwater ruins at a depth of 18 to 30 meters are considered one of the greatest underwater archaeological discoveries in history.
Based on geometric patterns found on boulders, scientists have concluded that these formations are not natural. They contain huge rectangular blocks and channels that lead to stairwells.
According to Graham Hancock, author of The Underwater World: The Mysterious Origins of Civilization, what he considers a “ceremonial complex” far exceeds the capabilities of all Stone Age civilizations known to us.

According to him, the structure was probably built before the last ice age, and the subsequent melting of the ice caused a global flood. Thus, the complex was built more than 14 thousand years ago.
Given that mankind at that time could not build such structures, some scientists believe this is the result of the activity of extraterrestrial intelligence.
Legends say that in an area of the ocean south of Japan where the ruins were found, fire-breathing underwater dragons flew out of the water and overturned sea vessels. This area of the ocean was called the Dragon's Triangle and is also known as the Devil's Sea.
At present, luminous objects periodically rise from the water in this area and circle above the ships. The Dragon Triangle is considered a hotbed of UFO activity.
Oddly enough, this vast stretch of ocean is similar to the Bermuda Triangle, on the opposite side of the Earth, at the same latitude. The Bermuda Triangle with its paranormal activities is also considered a hotbed of UFO activity.
In both "triangles" magnetic phenomena are observed, causing malfunctioning of compasses and instruments. Ships and planes disappeared here without a trace.
The similarities don't end there. Both on the outskirts of the Dragon Triangle and on the outskirts of the Bermuda Triangle off the coast of Cuba, ancient ruins have been discovered, including pyramid-like terraced structures.
Could there be a connection between the underwater ruins in the East Atlantic and the Yonaguni region of the Pacific?
Some paranormal experts say both "triangles" may indicate the existence of bases of aliens that may have lived on Earth for thousands of years.
If these structures were created about 14 thousand years ago, and the people of the Stone Age could not build them, then who built them?
