NASA's rover has transmitted new images of the Red Planet to Earth. The discussion has been going on for the second week: scientists believe that one of the photographs shows a semblance of ruins, similar to a man-made building.
The survey was conducted immediately after a severe sandstorm. The wind blew away large masses of sand, which allowed the rover to conduct a detailed study of the area.
The interest of scientists was aroused by the plateau, which in this resolution looks like a man-made, hand-tiled square. At the end of the square, the semblance of a reservoir is also noticeable - the walls are almost perfectly round.
Near Gale Crater, the rover photographed what looked like stonework. These findings are unlike what scientists have seen previously.
Even angles are unusual - it is known that in nature, even corners are almost never found. And in one of the pictures, some scientists did make out the wreckage of an entire building.

All this is still nothing more than speculative conclusions. Science does not yet have any evidence of the existence of a highly developed civilization on Mars in the past.
