Friends, in recent years, the Internet has been flooded with information on the topic of buried cities. Supporters of alternative history are of the opinion that in the recent past a cataclysm occurred on our planet, as a result of which the buildings were submerged several meters into the ground.
As evidence, amateur researchers cite houses of old buildings, which go one or two floors underground. They argue that it is enough to walk along the old streets of Russian cities and you can clearly see that many houses were originally higher. The buildings had entrances and windows, which today are located below ground level.
According to alternative people, one of the most striking confirmation of this is the story of the recent reconstruction of the building of the Polytechnic Museum in Moscow. Then, in the course of restoration work to strengthen the "foundation", a whole underground floor was dug up. And later it turned out that there was another buried floor under it.

I myself am not an adherent of alternative historical theories. However, cases similar to that described occur throughout Russia. At the same time, the official historical science prefers not to advertise such facts or, at best, to brush it off, attributing everything to the peculiarities of the construction of those years.
Places of excavation work near such buildings try to isolate from prying eyes and, if possible, not attract public attention. But what should a layman do when he sees it with his own eyes?
For example, passing by another ordinary construction site in the historical part of the city of Samara, you can contemplate interesting things. Builders are pouring the foundation of a new house into a pit, the walls of which are the brick walls of buried buildings.

The photo and video show embedded windows and arched entrances, which are located much below ground level. The most observant ones even saw a huge barrel embedded in the underground masonry.
Thus, in the course of construction work, not even the foundations of old structures were exposed, but entire floors.
We love infill buildings in historical city centers. The land here is expensive, the place is prestigious, which means that square meters can be sold dearly.
The work is being done quickly. By the end of summer, traces of the old buildings will no longer be visible. It would never occur to anyone that there is a whole buried city under the ground … And involuntarily you will wonder, do we really know our history?
