Scientists believe that the strange disappearance of one of the oldest civilizations known to us is even more mysterious than it seemed at first glance.
The Harappan or Indian civilization appeared and developed earlier than the other two great civilizations of that time, Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. The heyday (3300 - 1300 BC) allowed civilization to capture almost the entire Indian subcontinent. Then a sudden decline began - previously, scientists believed that it was associated with climate change, but now additional, previously unknown details have become clear.
It turned out that, unlike other ancient civilizations of Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, inextricably linked with three rivers, Nile, Tigris and Euphrates, the Indian civilization did not depend on waterways at all.
In addition, on the territory of this civilization, scientists have discovered the decay products of uranium. It sounds fantastic, but there are already assumptions of ufologists, according to which the people of the Indus River had the appropriate technique or external contacts. There are no other explanations for the findings yet, because India has no nuclear facilities in this zone.
