Among the attractions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory there is a ritual complex with a stone idol in the center, which is located on the left bank of the Taseeva River, not far from the place where it flows into the Angara River, 10 kilometers from the village of Pervomaisk.
The locals consider this place cursed and bypass it. The reason is that magnetic anomalies are still observed in this place. In any case, this is a very unusual place. In most of the streams that flow there, the water is rusty due to the high iron content in the soil. Iron also attracts lightning, which very often strike the top of a wooded hill, which, perhaps, determined the place of installation of the cult complex. Some have strange, colorful and surprisingly realistic dreams here. Others claim that they saw unidentified flying objects over this hill.
The complex was found by archaeologists at the end of the last century. Climbing to the top of the mountain and going through a rocky corridor, the researchers found an altar with an unusual stone statue, on which a human face was carved. The height of the idol is about one and a half meters, at the base the width of the stone is 45 cm, and at the top it is 35 cm.
The rocks that form the ridge have more than 20 natural depressions, in which more than a thousand objects were discovered: arrowheads, objects for shamanic rituals, as well as Scythian casting and bronze jewelry. All this points to the ancient history and high popularity of the sculpture. The finds allowed scientists to establish that it was through these places that the ancient trade route passed, connecting China, Mongolia, Altai, Tuva and the modern Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Scientists believe that the stone idol appeared during the time of the Scythians, when the inhabitants of this region belonged to the Caucasians. Initially, the image on the stone, made using the technique of embossed embossing and grinding, personified a mature man with a full beard, a high bridge of the nose, wide eyebrows and expressive wings of the nose. In front of the idol's eyes there are large letters YAR, on the right cheek - the word WARRIOR, on the mustache - the word RURIK. In other words, the researchers presumably encountered here the military temple of Mary of one of the garrisons of Rurik. But also the word viman appears in the texts. If we turn to the Sanskrit texts, then there are full references to how the gods fought in the sky using vimanas equipped with weapons as deadly as those used in our more enlightened times. What all this means is not known.
During the early Middle Ages, when the Mongols who came with the invasion drove the population of this region back, the appearance of the Siberian stone idol underwent a change and became more Asian. They made him slanting eyes with uncomplicated deep pupils, and tried to "shave off" his beard and mustache, but this idea was not crowned with success, since in this place the breed is the hardest.

The third "restoration", dating from the time the Russians arrived in Siberia, was quite insignificant. Probably, the Tunguses cut a hole in the idol's mouth for attaching the tube and tinted the pupils with ocher, giving them a red tint. They also, obviously, own the roughly scratched marks on the nearby rocks.
