There are many people in the world who dream of finding a treasure. With the advent of modern metal detectors on the market, this dream may well become a reality. Until the treasure hunter has found anything worthwhile, they look at him with a little pity. But as soon as the capricious Lady Luck gives someone her smile, representatives of both the authorities and criminal structures begin to show interest in the person. After all, there are hunters and treasure seekers, which the latter are not at all happy about. Therefore, in Altai, serious treasure hunters do not advertise their names and most often know each other by nicknames. But in the evening by the fire, they like to tell stories with elements of mysticism, flavoring them with salty words.

The spirits who guarded the treasure

On the plain, at the foot of a low ridge, a treasure hunter, nicknamed Stompotun, combed the ancient ruins. Finding nothing, the guy climbed higher and went along the saddle. Under the stone, he found a sewn-on plaque from the times of the Kimak Kaganate (750-1035), and then, not understanding why, he began to wade through the dense and thorny thickets until he got to a huge stone. Catching his breath, he began to look around and saw a small hole in the rocks nearby. He came up, looked in, and down there - a small cave, the bottom of which is strewn with fine sand. Fearing snakes, I put a rod with a metal detector coil in there. A loud instrument beep sounded. The stomper with difficulty squeezed into the hole and began to dig out the sand. He soon found something. The guy cleaned the find and was literally stunned with joy - it was a sparkling Saka gold colt with red stones (a hollow metal pendant attached to a woman's headdress). This he saw in the book.

Suddenly Stompotun heard the clatter of hooves above him, the neighing of horses and the screams of riders. So they jump off their horses and talk loudly, but not in Russian. Now they will pile up in a crowd, take away the find! The treasure hunter quickly dug his prey into the sand. It became quiet upstairs, and he cautiously looked out - no one. Maybe spirits came here to guard the ancient treasure? Shivering from the horror that announced him, Stompotun nevertheless took the find and quickly went home.

Fortune trick

This story is quite funny, although, let's say, not intended for children to read.

Promotional video:

So, where there used to be a mine, now heaped shafts of waste rock, blurred from time to time, overgrown with frail grasses. In search of nuggets Lyokha Shooter combed them for half a day, then crossed the Kamenushka rivulet and wandered for another two hours, but only pieces of iron came across, and he headed to the lake shore.

Not far from the path, in the grass, he almost got his foot in a pile of excrement, obviously human. Lyokha cursed and mechanically held the metal detector coil over her. There was a clear, sharp signal, and the display showed a gold icon! Throwing away the bunch with a shovel, Lyokha began to drive the coil, trying to determine the place more accurately, but the device gave a signal within a radius of a meter. I had to dig at random. The ground was hard. I had to put the shovel aside and grab the pick. The progress was slow. The shooter was tired, but stubbornly pounded the soil, and a pile of turned-over stones grew before our eyes.

Deeper into the ground half a meter, Lyokha noticed a stone with a characteristic yellow sheen in the pit. I picked it up with a pick and turned out a large nugget. He took it in his hands and, dumbfounded by the incredible luck, exhaled: "Don't give a damn!" I laundered the find in the river and, after admiring it, put it in the car. I went to the house, and a hobby colleague, Bald Skull, met him. Lyokha could not resist and told him about his fabulous find. And then the Skull screamed: “Damn! So it’s my stomach there! Fucked your luck! " The reason for disappointment is really good: the nugget contained 370 grams of gold.

Bobrovsky idol

Barabash was pleased. Once, when plowing a field, the mound behind Bobrovka was pulled apart by a tractor, and now the finds followed one after another, and at the very surface of the earth. A figurine of a golden deer, gold and bronze plaques, iron stirrups, arrowheads …

A long granite stone lay not far from the mound. Barabash turned it over and realized that it was not just a lump, but an ancient idol, only without a head. The god's left hand rested on the hilt of a saber, and in the right was a vessel like a goblet. Barabash, walking around, looked for the head of the stone statue, but did not find it, and with the help of friends who came in time, loaded the idol into the trunk of his car. One of the friends noticed that this is probably a gravestone and cannot be kept near the house. But Barabash just brushed it off - they say, prejudice.

He brought the idol to his dacha and set it up by the steep stairs leading to the second floor. Let the neighbors look at this beauty and envy. And the next day, going down from the second floor, Barabash slipped and counted the steps with his back.

He closed his eyes in pain, and when he opened his eyes, he saw a stone statue in front of him, as if in a mockery raising its cup in front of him.

His back had to be treated for a long time, and after that incident, Barabash could no longer work in a tilt. Perhaps it was just a coincidence, but out of harm's way, the treasure hunter transferred the statue to the local history museum.

Angel running board

Vasya Kap wandered for a long time through the dumps of old gold mining. I began to move over the sample and stumbled. He fell, and the device flew to the side and squeaked. Vasya dug in that place, and the hog, as the nuggets are called here, lies on top. Just handsome!

And then the roar of a helicopter was heard overhead. Now they will sit down, arrange a shmon - and a kirdyk to the gift of fate! The helicopter of the forest guard made a circle and hovered directly over Vasya. You could see how he was viewed through the window: is he a hunter or not? Vasya waved the metal detector, making it clear that he had no weapons, that he was a treasure hunter and that the fauna dear to the rangers did not care. The helicopter rose and was soon out of sight.

Vasya picked up a nugget, thrown away under a bush, just in case, hid it in a backpack and went home. The nugget, named by him Crab, pulled 98 grams.

Women's logic

On the May Day holidays, a treasure hunter, nicknamed Kalach, went with his wife to the field behind Vasilyevka. He left his wife with a car behind the largest mound, so that they could not be seen from the road, and began to wander. But Kalach was unlucky - no matter how much he combed the area, he found only five bronze plaques. He passed two large mounds and moved along a chain of smaller ones. On the third I dug up a silver penny of 1853, periodically I came across tractor bolts, pieces of plowshares … There was no wind, it was hot. Tired Kalach spat on the search and headed to the car, just dragging the metal detector along the ground, just in case, without turning it off.

There were about twenty meters left to the car, when the device beeped, and the non-ferrous metal icon flashed on the display. Kalach turned back, moved the coil - no signal. He took a step away, walked around again. The cursor on the display jumped back and forth: now non-ferrous metal, now iron. The signal came from under a pile of stones. Kalach removed a piece of oil shale with a shovel and dug. First, two iron belt plaques fell out, and then a gold bracelet fell out of the crumbling lump of earth. Throwing the device, Kalach went to the car to show the find to his wife. She took the bracelet and began to examine it, and then asked a question, at which later all the treasure hunters laughed: “What is this? Gold? And where is the sample?"

Treasured chest

A lot of gold and jewelry were hidden by wealthy people who fled from Russia in 1917, hoping to return soon. In the ground and in the walls of houses there were "stashes" after the horrors of wars and other upheavals of the cruel XX century.

Over the long years of searching, Sedoy found many different things: Scythian plaques in the form of a curled panther and the head of a griffin eagle, a medal in memory of the coronation of Nicholas II, a fold with the image of Elijah the Prophet … But his main catch is a treasure of gold coins and jewelry: pendants, rings and earrings decorated with diamonds, emeralds and aquamarines. All this was neatly folded into a painted porcelain chest.

For fifteen years, Gray, carefully, trying not to attract attention to himself, gradually sold what he found in different cities. With the money raised, he bought a new apartment, a car and continued to do his favorite thing, difficult and at times dangerous - treasure hunting. In the summer it is hard physical labor, and in the winter you have to pore through the archives to choose a place for future searches. It is necessary to study the historical facts, find out where the abandoned villages and Kerzhats' sketes, the former estates of the rich, are located, analyze the information received in order to assess the real possibility of having a treasure. You also need ingenuity, ingenuity and luck. Here you will not only turn gray.

But on the other hand, it is impossible to describe the joyful excitement that the treasure hunter feels if the device starts giving signals, and the incomparable pleasure in the moment of happiness, when the gift of Lady Luck appears before his eyes.
