You may have heard information that in ancient times Mars was practically a twin of our planet. It had its own atmosphere, there were rivers and oceans on it, paradise gardens bloomed and perhaps there was life, maybe reasonable.
But according to the version of scientists, it was a long time ago, maybe millions or hundreds of millions of years, but if this is not the case, and the Red Planet is now a twin of the Earth?
Such rumors have spread not so long ago, as soon as color images of Mars began to appear. Conspiracy theorists and ufologists say that NASA processes photos before publishing them. They supposedly hide the truth about Mars so that other countries would not be tempted to colonize Mars.
So where did these rumors come from?
Quite a few people are looking for signs of other civilizations and UFOs in images from space. Several people have accused NASA of processing photographs from space in order to hide the truth from people.
This applies to unidentified objects in space, on the moon and on Mars. But there was also an accusation that Mars is actually far from red, but in its outlines from space it is similar to the Earth and can be inhabited.
It is difficult for me to judge the rights to the details of such rumors, and the effort to cover up the truth would be quite serious. However, it is worth considering that everyone cannot check the color of the planet from the Earth and people often trust scientists. But can someone use this to use the information for their own purposes?
