Coincidentally or not, but the governor's message sounded exactly on the 90th anniversary of the day the royal family was brought to Yekaterinburg.
According to NTV correspondent Inna Osipova, there was another mystical coincidence.
“Now we have found the whole family,” Eduard Rossel said at a press conference today. According to the Sverdlovsk governor, American experts have completed a genetic study of the remains found last summer near Yekaterinburg. And now there is no doubt: the ashes belong to the children of Nicholas II - Princess Maria and Tsarevich Alexei.
Eduard Rossel, governor of the Sverdlovsk region: “Indeed, children were found. And almost everyone to whom we gave the material for analysis confirms this. The genetic laboratory of the United States of America hospital has now completed its work. And our laboratory too, and we made it up to world requirements."
However, Sverdlovsk experts do not yet provide either confirmation or refutation of this information. Although admitted, the results from the Pentagon laboratory, where the research took place, are indeed received. But they will be announced later.
In July last year, near Yekaterinburg, the remains of two people were found with traces of violent death. Ural experts conducted a number of examinations and confirmed the version that the fragments of bones found belonged to the imperial children.
However, so that not the slightest doubt about the authenticity of the remains remains, it was decided to involve independent international experts in the study. The official results can be reported from day to day.
There are already so many myths and hoaxes around the story of the death of the royal family that it is better to wait, experts say.
And just today, when the theme of the tsar's remains is again in the spotlight, when exactly 90 years have passed since the day when Nicholas II and his family were brought to Yekaterinburg, another mystical event took place.
In the tract of Ganina Yama, in the very place where the imperial remains were found, a fire broke out. The temple complex in the name of the Holy Royal Passion-bearers caught fire. The fire started in the morning during prayer.
Parishioner: "An employee came and said, guys, we are on fire, the church shop is on fire."
The reasons for the incident are still unknown. But the fire was in the building where the museum of the temple and the royal family is located.
The fire was immediately assigned an increased hazard number, since all the buildings here are wooden and easily flammable. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of three cities - Yekaterinburg, Verkhnyaya Pyshma and Sredneuralsk - were involved in the extinguishing.
The fire was localized after two hours, the analysis of the rubble continues to this day. The temple complex suffered serious damage.
Archbishop Vikentiy of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye came to look at the ashes. For the diocese, all this was a difficult test. After all, it was here this summer, on the anniversary of the execution of the royal family, that thousands of pilgrims were to be received.
Many people from all over Russia still come to the Ganina Yama tract. These believers came specially from Chuvashia. But they could not get into the temple.
“We are very worried, our heart is already jumping. An abnormal feeling,”the parishioner shares.
How much money will be needed for the restoration is still unknown. But the restoration will begin this week - there is very little time left.
Tsar's days in the Urals are celebrated in July, on the anniversary of the execution of the imperial family. It is expected that this year Patriarch Alexy II himself will arrive, but for now the temple on Ganina Yama has been closed to parishioners.
So, Rossel refers to the data of American experts. There were actually two of them: in the genetic laboratory of the US armed forces and the laboratory of the University of Massachusetts.
The NTV television company has already reported that the research both there and there was not easy - it took a long time to isolate DNA from the provided samples. And the Americans were in no hurry to publish their findings.

So far, only one laboratory has been contacted - the US Armed Forces. According to DNA analysis, she has not yet confirmed the words of the Sverdlovsk governor.
The fact is that this laboratory has been conducting DNA analysis of those bones that were found 15 years ago. And they have DNA samples that will be compared with DNA samples extracted from new remains.
Michael Coble, the leading specialist of this laboratory, said in a telephone conversation that so far they have not sent any of their results to anyone for one simple reason - there are no results yet.
Michael Coble, head of research at the US military laboratory: “No, we have not reported any results to anyone. We have not even carried out the third study from what we planned.
We need at least three more weeks. We hope that by mid-May we will have the results ready. And as far as I know, the other two laboratories have not finished their studies yet either.
The laboratories mentioned by Michael Coble are the University of Massachusetts laboratory, the US Armed Forces laboratory and the laboratory in Austria, which, according to Coble, has not yet started this analysis.
Indeed, the Massachusetts experts seem to have finished their studies, unlike their Washington colleagues. But despite the fact that all laboratories seem to work independently, they are all connected.
As far as Michael Coble knows, none of the laboratories sent the results of their work anywhere. There is an unspoken agreement that the results will be sent to Russia at the same time after all three laboratories finish their research.
In other words, Michael Coble did not deny or confirm what Governor Rossel said. However, he said that, at the very least, it is not a scientific approach to announce the results now.
In general, one gets the impression that it is very difficult to achieve unambiguous and firm answers in the story of the death of the Romanovs - you are looking for facts, but you get some mystical coincidences and parallels. This, according to the most famous researcher of the issue, is not surprising.
Edward Radzinsky, writer, historian: “Even if Nicholas II appeared and declared that this was the very grave, the devilish dance around this burial would not end.
Do you know why? The fact is that one of the dreams of Russian hierarchs abroad was a burial, a nationwide burial of the remains of the royal family, which, as they believed, would be a day of nationwide repentance.
Here we are trying to close the grave, but no repentance has happened. And this grave is mystical. This is not the grave of the Romanovs, but the grave of the remains of the Russian revolution, which we cannot close, because this very repentance is absent."
