As it turned out, there are many ancient artifacts on the territory of Armenia. And the recent findings of scientists can seriously rewrite the history of the Ancient World. Let's talk about them.

For some reason, it is generally accepted in the scientific world that the territory of Armenia has never been "involved" in the historical processes of ancient civilizations. The civilizations of Ancient Egypt or the Sumerians are of much greater interest to the scientific world.

The Soviet Union also played a significant role in this - after all, excavations on the territory of Armenia began precisely during the Soviet era. And then there was such an interesting thing, it was called the "Iron Curtain", and it had a huge impact not only on the country's economy, but also on science.

Almost nothing was known about the discoveries of Soviet scientists on the territory of Armenia. But in our time, the situation is starting to change radically. Interesting finds in Armenia began to be found back in the 20th century.

So, in 1975, several ancient burial grounds were discovered on the territory of Mount Aragats. They immediately interested Soviet archaeologists. Scientists understood where the name of this place came from - Naver.

For many ancient European peoples, the words "nev" or "nav" were translated as a grave or a ship. However, everything is much more complicated here - researchers believe that this name contains a sacred meaning - supposedly the souls of the dead leave for another world on a ship. Then it became even more interesting.

The mounds were not young at all - they were built 2-3 thousand years BC. Such results were obtained by radiocarbon analysis carried out not only in the territory of the Soviet Union, but also in countries such as Germany and the United States.

Information about these burials was found in the annals of Armenia. For example, in the "History" of Movses Khorenatsi, it was said that the son of the leader of the Armenian people, Hayk, lived near Mount Aragats. And that was about 2492 BC.

Many rich people from the upper strata of society were buried in this burial ground. Near the burial grounds, archaeologists found more than eight other mounds, and then their number increased even more - to 70+. This finding allowed the researchers to suggest that Armenia may be the ancestral home of the Indo-European civilization.

Among all the burials found in the world, where information of Aryan thinking and the Aryan way of life was recorded, these burial grounds are the most ancient. Not far from them, traces of production of those distant times were also found. All this gives new food for thought - more and more questions to history appear.

A large number of animal bones, various types of weapons, jewelry and much more were found near these burial grounds. But this burial is interesting not only for the usual ancient artifacts - there were also sensational finds here.

Scientists are sure that these burial grounds correspond to the Aryan ideas in all respects. Their structure is very complex. Here traces of such processes as cremation, gnawing of the bones of slaves by specially trained dogs, and simple burials of peasants were found.

Interestingly, women were buried on the left side, men on the right. Two horses were found in almost every burial. In one of these burial grounds, a black jug was found, on which were painted six pairs of chariots, each with 4 spokes.

And such chariots existed in very ancient times. Another interesting find is a red jug with the image of thoroughbred horses. This may indicate that horse breeding flourished on the territory of Armenia at that distant time.

Many unique pieces of jewelry have been found. Some of them were generally made of quartz, and quartz … melts only at a temperature of about 1700 degrees Celsius.

Nobody else made quartz products in those days. A lot of evidence was found for the hypothesis that at that time ancient Armenia was actively involved in international trade.
