Secret world government computed by Swiss supercomputer
Horror stories of conspiracy theorists that humanity is ruled not by politicians, but by mysterious "puppeteers" hiding in the shadows behind the backs of the official authorities, are usually considered fables. Until recently, it was impossible to prove these fabrications, but scientists unexpectedly came to the aid of lovers of conspiracy theories. The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Zurich) decided to analyze how the world economy works and which companies control the most resources and markets. With the help of the latest supercomputer, they were able to explore data from 37 million companies around the world - and came to shocking conclusions.
It turned out that out of the myriad of firms and small firms, 1318 organizations actually have real weight. They, in turn, are subordinate to mega-corporations, of which there are only 147 on the planet. These giants, according to formal reporting alone, own up to 20% of all world income. In fact, when you consider all the interconnections, we are talking about 60 percent of planetary GDP. And all this wealth is controlled by only a few hundred tycoons and top managers.
But even more interesting is the list of those very mega-corporations. It was headed, the website kp.ru writes, by transnational financial monsters: JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, Capital Group Companies, Merrill Lynch & Co Inc. and some others. It is these structures that are usually accused of secretly managing the world and turning kings and presidents around as they please. Moreover, according to scientists from Zurich, in the end all the threads can reach one company or even one person - but of course, even a supercomputer cannot name him.
It is worth noting that the representatives of the university themselves distance themselves from conspiracy theories in every possible way. James Glattfelder, the head of the research group, stressed several times that he had no intention of giving arguments into the hands of people who believe in a worldwide conspiracy, and he himself has nothing to do with them. He also noted that, according to the conclusions of his team, the "world government" has only economic, but not political influence.
