In fact, the current government is shrouded in such a veil of secrecy that it is almost impossible to establish exactly who is who and who makes decisions.

So, for example, one of the English Rosicrucians, Robert Wentworth Little, not only influenced the Golden Dawn from its very inception, but also maintained relations with the German Rosicrucians. As head of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Mathers was replaced by the poet William Butler Yeats, who some time later became the Nobel Prize laureate in literature (one of the key works for understanding Yeats's worldview is "Vision"). Yates took the name "Frere Demon est Deus Inversus". When he presided over the meetings of the society, he always wore a Scottish kilt, covered his face with a black half-mask and wore a golden dagger at his belt.
Among the members of the Order of the Golden Dawn was one woman - Florence Farr, a theater director and a close friend of Bernard Shaw.
