Scientists at Harvard University have put forward a new theory according to which our universe is actually composed of a liquid with antigravity and negative mass. In other words, during expansion, it seems to push the planets out of itself, affecting them with a certain force. Scientists have come to the conclusion that their theory is fully justified, because it explains the existence of dark energy and dark matter.

For the first time, the existence of dark energy and dark matter was discussed in the last century after the discovery of the scientist Fritz Zwicky. The astronomer noticed strange changes taking place in the constellation Coma Veronica. The scientist could not explain how all the stars of a massive object stick together, because under the influence of space, they should have long ago shifted and changed their position. Then experts suggested that there could be a star with powerful gravity or a massive black hole. But in the first case, the constellation would shine with the brightest light, and in the second, the hole would have swallowed up some of the stars and planets, which did not happen.

Then Zwicky could not find a rational explanation, and his research was forgotten. However, scientists continued to search for facts confirming the existence of dark matter and dark energy, as well as their impact on space. Dark matter or energy cannot be captured, because it is not an object, but experts have come up with a special trap with which they studied the changes in outer space.

Scientists have come to the conclusion that a particle of dark energy could be a neutrino. A particle is several times lighter than an electron, but it is so widespread in the Universe that it can be studied. The proof that it is the neutrino that is the element of dark energy is the fact that it practically does not interact with matter, that is, the Earth is as transparent to it as glass on a window. In addition to neutrinos, there are several other assumptions about dark energy and dark matter particles, but none of them has yet found a scientific basis.

In order to track neutrinos, scientists have created a special apparatus as part of an experiment called EDELWEISS. The principle of operation of the device is quite simple, but requires a lot of effort and expense. Experts from Russia, France and Germany calculated that sooner or later the neutrino will fall into the vicinity of the depths of our planet, and that is where the "trap" was placed. There it is possible to avoid the influence of any other cosmic particles that could interfere with the purity of the experiment. It is at the very moment when a neutrino particle meets an atom of terrestrial matter, the latter, according to scientists' calculations, will change its momentum, which will immediately become known thanks to advanced equipment. 14 years have passed since the start of the experiment, but no result has yet been achieved.

It was after the launch of the experiment that scientists realized that each matter has its own energy, which means that under the condition of the existence of dark matter, there is also dark energy. No one has yet been able to understand how exactly these two concepts are combined with each other, and therefore the theory of the liquid Universe is just one of the attempts to describe the interaction of concepts.

Strange distance of galaxies

Physicist Jamie Farnes from Oxford University decided to explain why galaxies move away from each other, because for this they must be affected by some kind of force from the outside. Yes, scientists have already recognized the existence of dark energy, but why it repels galaxies, and does not push them together, the scientist explained. In his opinion, each of the galaxies is surrounded by a liquid with antigravity, which prevents them from merging into one huge space object. The existence of this liquid also explains the existence of dark matter. In a collision, the "bubble" in which the galaxy is located seems to compress it, decreasing in size. In this case, the stars behave exactly as in the constellation Coma Veronica. They seem to be attracted to itself by an invisible mass in the center, this is dark matter.

Scientists have tried to refute the proposed theory, but so far they have failed mathematically. However, there is still a flaw in this assumption. In other words, it must be constantly created, but even this does not explain the accelerated expansion of the universe.
