Among ufologists, there has long been a hypothesis that our ancestors possessed the technology of building aircraft, which they could have received from extraterrestrial civilizations. Such statements are always criticized by traditional scientists who do not believe in such technologies of ancient people.
However, there are ancient texts and images of aircraft that do describe the various designs of ancient aircraft. Do we know the history of our civilization so well to deny such a possibility?
Statements about the aircraft of antiquity are made not only by ufologists, but also by various politicians and the military, who may be familiar with some documents, which may well be classified from ordinary people. Recently, Kazem Finjan, who holds the post of Iraqi Minister of Transport, shared his vision of the ancient history of mankind. He stated that his ancestors from Iraq could have flown into space more than five thousand years ago and then people had technologies at their disposal that were superior to modern ones.
Finjan recalled the mention of flying ships by the Sumerians. In addition, the minister said that a specialized cosmodrome for such launches could have been built on the territory of Iraq in ancient times. Kazem also mentioned Zechariah Sitchin, who studied Sumerian technologies in some detail and argued that ancient technologies were superior to modern ones. Sitchin also spoke about the knowledge of the Sumerians about the structure of the Universe and their discovery of the planet Pluto, which is mentioned in the clay tablets of the Sumerian civilization.
It is also interesting that the Sumerian civilization was formed about six thousand years ago and many of the knowledge of these ancient people does not fit into the idea of scientists about our history. It seems that the Sumerians got their knowledge almost at one moment, which made it possible to make a lightning leap in the development of this ancient civilization.
