A road sign to the anomalous zone "Molebka" appeared on the initiative of the Ministry of Business Development and Trade of the Perm Territory within the framework of a tourism development project

Molebka is a village in the Kishertsky District of the Perm Territory, which since the early 1990s has become a place of pilgrimage for tourists from all regions of Russia and foreign countries. According to ufologists, in these places you can witness paranormal phenomena and even come into contact with extraterrestrial civilizations. Here, in the "Russian Bermuda Triangle", for the second year in a row, an international congress dedicated to the study of geo-anomalous phenomena is being held. Local residents and travel companies of Perm have long been actively making money on the interest of Russians in aliens. For a few thousand rubles, you can spend a weekend in a taiga forest and feel the energy of these places. Last year, the regional governor Oleg Chirkunov took advantage of this opportunity.

Now on the federal highway Perm-Yekaterinburg, 70 kilometers from Molebka, there is a road sign with a symbolic UFO image. So the authorities are going to increase the flow of tourists trying to communicate with extraterrestrial intelligence. Similar signs are installed near nine other tourist sites: the Kungur Ice Cave, the Spoon Museum in Nytva, the Perm-36 Museum of Political Repression, the Khokhlovka Open Air Architectural Museum, the Orda Underwater Cave and others. By the end of the year, 15 more objects will become more accessible to tourists. Even during the installation process, the signs aroused increased interest from passing motorists.

According to the Minister of Business Development and Trade of the Perm Territory, Marat Bimatov, signs will be useful not only for tourists from other regions and foreigners, but also for residents of the region, who will be reminded that there are many interesting places to visit in the region.

“For recognition, a separate icon-pictogram has been developed for each attraction - for example, a molebian flying saucer, a diver from the Orda underwater cave,” the minister said.

The idea of tourist signs is not new: all over Europe there are large billboards made in white and brown tones, signaling tourists about objects of interest to visit. As explained in the Ministry of Trade, due to the existing standards, the use of such signs in Russia is not yet officially allowed. Nevertheless, this issue is being worked out and, possibly, in the near future the Perm Territory will please foreign tourists with the usual "European" navigation. According to Marat Bimatov, this is especially important from the point of view of joining the European Capital of Culture project. “The region should be accessible, convenient and comfortable for Russian and foreign travelers. And the compliance of the infrastructure with international standards is one of the key success factors,”Bimatov believes.
