A new book by the coordinator of the "Cosmopoisk" association Vadim Chernobrov "Time, immortality, man" has been released, which is the first in a new series dedicated to the mysteries of the most mysterious of what surrounds us - Time. This book is a revised version of the publication "Secrets of Time" and talks about the interaction and influence of the phenomenon of Time on the human body. It is assumed that the next few volumes will be devoted to the interaction of Time with the Earth, Space, technology and temporal science (time travel). Correspondent: Vadim Alexandrovich, we know that you finished the work on the new book in the hospital. For what reason did you get there? Some say that these are the consequences of mercury poisoning in the caves of Sinai. Others - that the case is connected with an uncomfortable field / expeditionary lifestyle … Keeping your right to privacy, we are not asking you to publicize the diagnosis (albeit damn interesting). I am more interested in whether you intend (are you able, does your health) in 2010 to participate in the field work of the Cosmopoisk? Finally, the most popular question of our readers: "Do you know how much the HF backpack weighs?"
HF:I hear about mercury for the first time … Otherwise, there is some truth, in general, the reasons that made me switch to writing books in hospital conditions can be described in two words: this is what the media calls “the curse of the pharaohs”. Science is skeptical about this name, it is understandable - such a "virus" is unknown. But people were dying! Now I can also say - and I should have died in September-November, but "went along the edge" (or "beyond the edge"). Now, it seems, I understand what this "curse …" is, I am even glad of such an experiment, since few would agree to it on purpose, and you should not refuse the gifts of fate. The main thing is that there is enough time for reflection, it will take a lot of time to test new ideas and thoughts. So there are a lot of plans, including expeditionary ones. Including the search for "mysteries of the first magnitude." Where, you will soon find out. I can only say one thing - backpacks weighing under 80-90 kg, with which, for example, I crossed the Kolyma in winter, I will not carry around. Speaking of the acceptable weight of the backpack, the "curse of the pharaoh" in ancient caves and other dangers lurking in anomalous zones, I hope a separate reference book will be released soon.
Correspondent: Recently, the Cosmopoisk groups summed up the results of their work for 2009. And how do you assess what has been done during the year? Can you single out something specific, about which you could say “yes, we did it, it was cool” and bang your fist in the chest? A similar question with regard to your books - which of them do you consider the most successful and which is the least?
VCh: The event of the year is how the tangle of crop circle secrets continued to unfold. Three predicted circles (statistically) - and three hits. We are very close to solving the problem, or so it seems. Maybe there are still many turns of threads in the ball, maybe they will get tangled, but … the threads that we hold in our hands are drawn to other age-old secrets. So I'm looking forward to new seasons. As for books, if a book has been hard-won, it cannot but be loved. So I have no favorites. And there are none that are not obsolete, time passes, and it becomes clear what needs to be corrected or supplemented in the next edition. Some of my books have gone through three and a half or more editions. And I am finalizing them, therefore, of course, I always consider the latest (extreme) edition to be the most correct. And such clarifications will be as long as research is underway …
Correspondent: You informed the public that your new book is an enlarged and revised version of the book "Secrets of Time". How many "additions and revisions" have been made? Does it make sense to acquire a new book for those who have previously acquired and read "Secrets of Time", how much new will they learn from the book "Time, Immortality, Man"?
VCh: This is a multivolume edition, there are many corrections. For example, when the previous editions came out (1996, 2001) the Vitim and Altai meteorites, which we found later, had not yet fallen. And they figured out the secret of the Tunguska meteorite. The criterion of reliability - after all, knowledge made it possible to find these new, fresh Tungus-like bodies. Correspondent: As you and I already know, in any team there are, let's say, "harmful personalities", "envious", "spiteful critics". They are also in Cosmopoisk. I am sure you can tell a lot more rumors about yourself than you go on the Internet. Can you name some of the funniest ones from your point of view?
HF:The word "envious" sincerely amuses me (see question number 1) … If there are other "bad elements" (also funny), then a healthy team will be able to get rid of them. Or such "elements" themselves will finally be engaged not in children's games (like "who is cooler"), which I sincerely consider such activities, but an interesting thing, which will be enough for everyone. However, not at all. I am convinced, and no one will convince me that brawlers who are not able to understand and make friends at least with colleagues should not be allowed on a cannon shot to everything related to the problem of Extraterrestrial Civilizations (and potentially to the topic of contacts, as you can understand from to yourself as NOT like people, if you cannot coexist with your own kind). “Ufologist-brawler” is nonsense, worse than “blind artist” or “deaf musician”. You knowwhen will we understand the interests of hypothetical extraterrestrial civilizations and establish contact with them? The next day, after we learn to fully understand each other …
