Neither we, nor other conspiracy theorists attached much importance to these messages, since the world has already seen a lot of such fiery activists. In particular, in the 1980s, the entire press thundered about Samantha Smith and Katya Lycheva: Samantha entered into a business correspondence with General Secretary Yuri Andropov, and Katya Lycheva talked about world affairs with Ronald Reagan because Reagan seemed to have no one else to talk to.
In light of this, Greta was very similar to a similar phenomenon - that is, when adult uncles and aunts for the entertainment of voters delegate a schoolboy to fight the arms race. However, with Greta, things went completely wrong, as everyone initially thought.

At the same time, earlier, in 2018, Time magazine included Greta among the 25 most influential teenagers of 2018, and in April 2019 Time named her one of the 100 most influential people on the planet at the time of 2019.
