Sergius of Radonezh is revered as the spiritual Guardian of the Russian people, the Wonderworker, the Saint, about whom every Orthodox person knows.
But few people know that he was a Russian Magus, called to preserve the spirituality and purity of the Faith of his people. But, the Christian church knew about it, and tried to involve him in the church ministry.
Bartholamey's initiation into Vedic Knowledge
When he was a child (about 7-9 years old), learning was difficult for him, and he was laughed at. Once everything changed: he met an amazing old man in the forest when he was looking for a lost animal, at the request of his father.

After this meeting, everything changed. Bartholamey became so capable that he easily overtook and excelled in education and spiritual development of all his peers and other teachers.
The hagiographer Epiphanius the Wise and Hieromonk Pachomius Logofet wrote about all this. By that time, the chroniclers painted his life according to their canons: they embellished and conjectured something, but did not finish something.
The beginning of the difficult path of Sergius of Radonezh
At the age of 19, Bartholomew leaves people to fast and pray (to develop his knowledge and skills). It is quite understandable, it was already difficult for him to live among ordinary people. He developed the secret and sacred Knowledge transmitted to him by the Teacher, and he had a purpose in life. He firmly knew his purpose.

When he, presumably, was 20 years old or a little more, he asked Abbot Mitrofan to take monastic vows from him, and received the name Sergius, still remaining alone and praying.
Some time later, Sergius began to have followers and disciples (twelve people), who settled and lived next to him. Together they began to build a monastery community.
When he became the abbot of his first monastery, built at the foot of the Makovets mountain, with his followers - his teaching about Christ, he discovered in a completely new way.
Sergius forbade asking for alms from people and ordered him to live in his labors. He did not frighten anyone with hellish torments, on the contrary, his faith was bright and filled with the Vedic light of the sun and, harmonious with his beliefs in the One Creator.
Sergius was so holy and revered among the people that the Christian church constantly tried to convince him to accept the dignity of hegumen. He refused. Only after the death of Abbot Mitrofan, from whom he took monastic vows, did he agree to be the second abbot after him.
Sergius' attitude to Vera was special and unusual: in his monastery there was a special detachment of monks who studied the martial arts of that time. Subsequently, they took part in the Battle of Kulikovo.

Secrets of Sergius of Radonezh
The saint had the ability to see and feel people telepathically. Find sacred places of Power on earth. Such places where a special energy comes to the surface, where he erected the Cathedral.
His moral purity was of the highest level, as was his holiness. He radiated light and wisdom. The legend says that feeling the place of Power, one day he hit the ground with his staff, and at this place a spring began to flow. This is how the Holy Spring "Gremyachiy Klyuch" appeared.
