The topic of this article is not new, but nevertheless, I would like to look at it from a slightly different angle. This is Staraya Linza, an abandoned quarry for the extraction of talc magnesite in the urban-type settlement of Shabrovsky. A supposedly abandoned quarry, but still something different. What was it impossible to talk about to the common people in the Soviet Union? Let's figure it out.
Many questions arise about the Shabrovsky career. It is no secret that hundreds of destroyed megalithic structures have survived in the Urals, and even at least several pyramids have been found. Definitely, the Urals keep many secrets and mysteries, perhaps this is one of them, but first, a little official information. Staraya Linza is an abandoned quarry for the extraction of talc magnesite in the urban-type settlement of Shabrovsky. The Shabrovskoye field and plant is located 27 kilometers south of the city of Yekaterinburg. Before the discovery of talc in this place, it was mined in the vicinity of Syzerti. In 1974 the quarry was mothballed due to the invention of new mining technologies. The depth of the open pit of the Shabrovskoye Staraya Linza deposit is about 100 meters, the width is 250 meters, the length is 400 meters, and now let's take a closer look.
Looking at photos of various talc quarries around the world, there is no one like this. Firstly, a stepped structure without the possibility of lifting the soil to the surface by trucks. Absolutely everywhere, such and deeper quarries are made taking into account the possibility of transporting the rock by trucks, but here we do not see this. Then how was the breed raised? They are trying to convince us that all this crazy action took place through these metal hoists.
Can you imagine the volumes? But even this one could close our eyes, but the totality of absurd facts is simply off scale. What do you think the bottom of an old abandoned quarry will look like? Probably traces of excavators, remnants of rock, and so on? But here the bottom is tiled exactly. Can you imagine it?
And there is even a watchman's hut and neatly planted flower beds. The question is, what is a watchman for here, if the quarry is abandoned?

But this is not even half the trouble. Until a certain point, water was regularly pumped out from it. The quarry was flooded some time ago, and this is from 1974, when the development allegedly stopped. What for? What is such a waste for? Wouldn't it have been easier to flood it at once, as is done with all such quarries. Also interesting is the fact that it was flooded as soon as people began to come here in order to look at least one eye at this miracle of the quarry.
Photos began to appear on the Internet, and the impression was that the order was given on purpose. But from the official data, we learn that in the winter of 2016, the pump allegedly went out of order, and the waterfalls quickly filled the quarry. At first, the management of the mine seemed to be going to fix the equipment, but then someone there admitted that this was inappropriate and left everything as it is. Is it advisable to pump out water from 1974 to 2016 from an unnecessary abandoned quarry? Or maybe it was flooded because of the wider publicity, especially since by that time there were already many interested in this topic.
How do we explain why the quarry itself has such a bizarre look. We are told that the whole point is that talc is still used in the form of bricks, but before this super cool technology, it was mined first in powder form, and then bricks were made. Allegedly, under the Soviet Union, engineer Stolyarov invented a technology by which talc bricks could be cut immediately from this quarry, which is why he has such a bizarre shape.
Okay, but first of all, the technique that was below clearly could not do this. Look at the size of the teeth of at least this huge saw, and compare with the steps themselves.
But the most interesting thing begins when you look through old photos of the very development itself and the super-technological process invented by Stolyarov.
Are they generally photographs or drawings, or negatives? In general, what is it? In those days, the photo was black and white, but not bad, and even more so not such a terrible quality. Why exhibit this? And they want to say that with the super-duper advanced technology of that time, you can say a breakthrough came with a soap box to take pictures? Yes, it's not even a soap dish, but generally it is not clear what.
Together with all the oddities, the thought arises that it was clearly not built in our time. Most likely they could find, conduct research, and possibly lift something from there with the help of these remaining winches. Water was pumped out even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, apparently, it was very important for someone, but after wide publicity and the appearance of photos on the Internet, it was decided to flood it.
