Now imagine that the savages of this island, without metal, without trees, made stone statues higher than these very five-story buildings. Moreover, they did it deliberately and in such quantity that it is simply impossible to imagine. Of course, I cannot help but turn to alternative history. According to a number of enthusiastic researchers, the idols of Easter Island are almost 60 million years old, and the island itself is part of the submerged ancient continent of Lemuria, where giants lived, capable of building such statues. I do not urge you to believe this, it's just a hypothesis and it has a right to exist. After all, it's easier to believe in giants than how savages used to crush rocks with sticks.
