What was it?

In all this (organized) anarchy, I am interested in one thing - why did they do what caused the mass protests?

Did our representatives of the Foreign Ministry get acquainted with the program of the conference in which the politician was supposed to take part, the attitude towards whom in Georgia is sharply negative? After all, they know the situation and mood in the host country? And at the same time they did not instruct this "heroic" deputy?

Maybe now it is not customary to control politicians entering a country with which for several years (to put it mildly) strained relations, because these politicians represent and are associated with Russia ?! Or do our diplomats take an example (not the best one must admit) from their North American colleagues, who believe that the whole world revolves around them?

I hope that they knew, understood, instructed (driven by concern for the image of our country). Then WHY did this unknown State Duma deputy do what our diplomats SHOULD DISABLED him from?

Georgian oppositionists (and Ukrainian radicals from the authorities) waited, were ready and reacted instantly. Putin also (unusually) reacted quickly, banning flights to Georgia and hanging in the air the expectation of imposing economic sanctions (however it was officially called). Amicably, harmoniously and quickly worked. As in Moldova (in fact).

And who needs it?

Saakashvili's party, which was the first to react to the figure of the disgraced deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, who sat in the “holy place” of Georgian democracy, is pro-American, it is known. Such "oppositionists" (and in some countries they are called "liberals") will not take a step without the command of the owners and the funding relying in such cases. That is, the Yankees needed it for some reason.

Sending an absolutely unknown deputy (for "slaughter") to Georgia, where this "dark horse" of the Russian State Duma, was supposed not only to participate, but to preside (!) In an international conference, is like using his persona "into the dark". Everything looks in such a way that Russia also needed it for some reason.

I do not pretend to be a conspiratorial version of events. But I cannot find logical answers to simple questions. In big politics, Nothing happens like that. I also consider it axiomatic that we have professionals working in the diplomatic mission in Georgia, which only adds to the questions.

And one more thing: if we assume that Trump and Putin have agreed (for example, through Patrushev and Pompeo) to carry out mutually interesting operations in the post-Soviet space, how will it look officially? No way. There will be a cover operation, because it’s even scary to imagine what will happen in the world, if they don’t just know about it - they just guess! Maybe that's why all meetings and negotiations are announced on the usual (hackneyed, understandable and therefore boring) agenda: Syria, Ukraine, Iran, North Korea.

But on Moldova (unexpectedly) they agreed and knocked off the oligarch, and Europe, scrupulous in such matters, silently digested and supported when they said - this is already a confirmed fact! What prevents them from repeating their success in Georgia? Especially if it suits both High Contracting Parties … We will wait and see.
