Could it be that two monuments of ancient architecture, which are separated by thousands of kilometers and twenty centuries, belonging to civilizations that existed on different continents, not in contact with their cultures, be identical - like twins?
Theoretically not, but in fact the Great Jaguar Temple in American Guatemala and the Siem Reap Temple of the Asian Kingdom of Cambodia, which are separated in time and space by the above parameters, were erected as if according to the same project or by the same architect.
Both temples have a pyramidal structure with a stepped formation and a very steep ascent, very different from other religious buildings. Both temples are striking with huge staircases leading directly to the tops of buildings, covered with almost identical domes with small doors. And although the Asian temple is slightly smaller in size than its American counterpart, in all other respects they are very similar - almost twins (at least twins).
Something else is surprising in this regard. In Mayan folklore, the construction of the Temple of the Great Jaguar is associated with the god Kukulkan, a great and very educated, who knows all the secrets of mathematics, architecture and other sciences necessary for the construction of such an architectural masterpiece. However, in oral Cambodian legends, the Siem Reap temple was built by the demigod Pream Pisnokar, a great architect, mathematician and technician. As if it was the same person or at least two architects of the same school.
To believe in coincidence or some kind of accident is all the same, that to believe that one person can hit the jackpot ten times in a row. Such coincidences can only serve as confirmation of the theory of alien astronauts who once visited our Earth and formed highly developed civilizations on almost all of its continents. It was these astronauts that ancient people considered gods, worshiped them and left us a lot of legends and oral traditions about their greatness.
Preserved on Earth and material evidence of the presence of those "great gods". Temples of the Great Jaguar and Siem Reap are some of them …
