Recently, journalists and researchers have found more and more evidence that the end of the world awaits us in the near future. The prophecies of the famous Bulgarian seer Vanga, as well as her "heirs", are called as an authoritative source. But can we talk about legacy in such matters? And in general - what exactly did Wang predict?

Where did the rumors about "Baba Vanga's heirs" come from? The fact is that back in 1996, shortly before her death, the clairvoyant allegedly said that her soul would move into a ten-year-old girl. Since then, the media has been constantly looking for more and more "heirs". One of the candidates was, for example, the clairvoyant Vili Getova, also from Bulgaria. At the end of the 20th century, she predicted that in 2002-2004, many countries will experience political cataclysms and natural disasters. In particular, she foresaw severe floods in Russia. Some of the prophecies have come true - let's remember the tsunami in Southeast Asia.

Another "Vanga" lives in France. Her name is Patricia Lumo. Like the real Vanga, she is blind, but she has the gift of clairvoyance. By a strange coincidence, Patricia lost her sight a month after the death of Vanga …

Once, when her family was going to Paris, the girl told them not to stay in one of the hotels, as a "big plane" would fall on it. A week later, the crashed Concorde crashed on the hotel.

Like Wanga, Patricia is able to talk to the dead. To the correspondent of the newspaper "Liberation", who interviewed her, she conveyed greetings from his army friend Antoine, a few years ago, crashed to death on a motorcycle.

However, did not people with paranormal abilities appear before Vanga? Take Nostradamus, Abel or Matrona of Moscow. So who is whose heir ?!

Even Vanga's niece Krasimira Stoyanova, who wrote a book about her, does not confirm the information that her aunt gave her gift to someone. And how can you convey it - you have to be born with such abilities!

The recent earthquakes in Japan, which led to the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant, made the public once again remember Vanga. She is credited with the following saying: "As a result of the fallout of radioactive fallout in the Northern Hemisphere, there will be no animals or vegetation." On this basis, many have taken the liberty of claiming that Wang prophesied the Apocalypse …

In fact, Vanga does not find any specific prophecies about Japan and, moreover, about the coming Apocalypse. True, she marks 2011 as the time when the future of humanity will be determined.

Meanwhile, Vanga's compatriot, sociologist Velichko Dobriyanov published a book in which he outlined a thorough analysis of the predictions of the famous clairvoyant. Of Vanga's 99 messages analyzed by Dobriyanov, 43 were completely true, 43 looked ambiguous, and only 12 were completely wrong. Thus, the number of accurate "hits" was about 70 percent. This is slightly higher than the theory of probability promises, but still not 100 percent!

So, once Vanga predicted: “After 2000, there will be no catastrophes or flood. A thousand years of peace and prosperity await us. 11 years have passed since that date, and can you remember at least one year without cataclysms ?!

Krasimira Stoyanova claims that many of Wanga's predictions are presented in a somewhat vague form and therefore are not understood. Indeed, in some cases the seer gave very specific forecasts, in others the prophecies looked vague and vague. The latter is typical, first of all, for tragic events.

Specifically, Wanga predicted that terrible diseases, hunger and thirst await humanity (which is not surprising given the current environmental conditions). There will be many natural disasters and disasters. Gradually, many plants and animals will disappear from the face of the Earth. First, onions, garlic and peppers. Bees are behind them (scientists are already expressing serious concern about genetic experiments that upset the natural balance). However, radiation has nothing to do with it.

And here is another prophecy: “In 2018, trains will fly on wires from the sun. Oil production will stop, the Earth will rest. But not a word about the Apocalypse! At least until 2018 we will definitely make it …

Who needs apocalyptic predictions? First of all, let us be idle journalists, whose bread is cheap sensations. And the names of Vanga and those who call themselves her "heirs" are perfect for this.

Alas, in the era of glasnost, there is no way to stop this stream of panic forecasts for the future. All that remains is to treat them with a grain of healthy skepticism …
