Back in the 1990s, the Bulgarian clairvoyant Baba Vanga predicted that chemical weapons would be used by a certain group of people in the world.

According to The Sun, before her death in 1996, Wanga said that "Muslims will use chemical weapons against Europeans" in 2016. On April 4, 2017, in the Syrian city of Khan Sheikhun (Idlib province), the population was attacked by chemical agents. The poisonous gas killed at least 89 people, and at least 557 were injured. The events in Khan Sheikhoun served as the official pretext for the US Navy's missile attack on the Ash-Shayrat airbase on April 7.

On April 14, militants of the Islamic State terrorist group, whose activities are banned in Russia, used poisonous substances in the west of Iraqi Mosul. Seven servicemen developed severe breathing problems.

The Bulgarian-born Wanga, who died in 1996 at the age of 85, was known as "Nostradamus of the Balkans". It is believed that on average 85% of her predictions come true.
