Not so long ago, on August 11, 1996, Vanga, a soothsayer, died. Some people still believe that important events taking place today are directly related to her predictions. Is it so?

Relatively recently, on Russian television, namely on some "yellow channels", they began to actively promote Vanga, however, not as usual, because PR is black. These broadcasts talked about the false predictions of the soothsayer, and about many discrepancies in the predictions themselves. But this did not raise the question of the adequacy of her information, those. about the correspondence of reality (reality), and no one was going to discredit the Bulgarian sorceress, rather the opposite.

As you know, lies and untruths will sooner or later make themselves felt, so it happened in the case of Vanga. It all started with the fact that the Vanga cult abruptly lost its power. Suspicions of the Bulgarian "clairvoyant" in political connections, and sometimes just the complete absurdity of her "predictions" contributed to the strengthening of the skeptical attitude …

Before the black PR went, programs were actively shown on the same channels in which Wang was represented as a prophet and a great clairvoyant. A banal set of pictures, oppressive music, an enlarged face of a blind old woman, such was the modest video sequence that was supposed to influence the viewer.

Everything would be fine, but the loudest predictions of the soothsayer are associated with no less significant events.

“Fear, fear! Brothers American will fall, pecked by iron birds. Wolves will howl from the bush, and innocent blood will spill like a river”(1989).

Here, as everyone probably understood, we are talking about the terrorist attack on September 11 in New York. But there are also more general “prophecies”, for example:

“Russia will again become a great empire, first of all an empire of the spirit” (date unknown).

"Everything will melt like ice, only one thing will remain intact - the glory of Vladimir, the glory of Russia … She will sweep everything out of her way and not only remain, but also become the ruler of the world" (1979).

You can, of course, if you wish, to see in this the coming into Russian politics of Vladimir Putin.

"They will find life in space, and it will become clear how life appeared on Earth." It is not for nothing that over the centuries various charlatans have appeared, in the form of evolutionists, materialists, philosophers, etc., who have argued and continue to claim to this day that they can explain the origin of life … An interesting fact - the 20th century is most abundant in information about aliens. But is it only because of scientific and technological progress? Considering that the so-called "UFOs" are depicted even on some ancient icons. At one time, a certain concept was even created, which is being developed to this day, according to which myths sound like reality, especially when the word "science" is behind these myths.

But the most shocking prediction, according to "KP", Wang made in 1980. She then literally said the following: "At the end of the century, in August 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be under water, and the whole world will mourn for it."

Here you will involuntarily start thinking: was it not planned in advance? But a counter question arises - why? If we proceed from the version that the disaster was planned and staged, then in this case Wanga is used to distract attention. After all, people are accustomed to trusting television, and those soothsayers who appear on it.

Statistics show that the bulk of people who blindly believe this blind "seer" are those who formally consider themselves Orthodox Christians. Here we have a case similar to Matrona of Moscow. If we take into account that miracles do not take the last place in Orthodoxy, it becomes clear why people suddenly begin to kiss the hands of old women, come to their graves as to a church. This is also due to the fact that, having no special facets in religion, a person goes beyond the norm, believing that there is nothing terrible in this (what is the norm and what is not is another question).

In short, a person accepts one or another model, depending on whether it coincides with his passions or not, even if it is not rational and not adequate. And all this under the guise of truth, and yet it is unchanging, and does not depend on our passions.

The opinion of the church on this matter is interesting. On the site orthodoxy.ru, the issue of Vanga was discussed, and despite the fact that this issue is in the category of "sects and false doctrines", the site could not express their attitude, although the description of what is happening (from the point of view of the Orthodox) is expressed quite well … According to Hieromonk Job, everything that happens is normal, but it would be better if Vanga kept the commandments.

“Vanga herself was not aware that she was communicating with the world of fallen spirits. Its numerous visitors did not understand this either. The grace-filled life in the centuries-old experience of Christianity, the spiritual nerve of which is the sincere and everyday fulfillment of the commandments of the Holy Gospel, saves from deception by fallen spirits."

In addition to communicating with fallen spirits, Vanga created her own commandments, but the hieromonk is silent about this …
