The appearance of ghostly panoramas, usually observed by a large number of people, is one of the strangest phenomena that defy scientific explanation. The most common references to the pictures of battles seen by people, however, you can also find references to sheep herds or groups of robbers on the roads.

On October 23, 1643, a major battle took place in England between the royal guard and the militia. Then more than five thousand people died on the battlefield. A month later, eyewitnesses observed the mirage of that battle. Many claimed to have seen the disembodied ghost of Prince Rupert, who, by the way, was still alive at that time.

In the eighteenth century, in the same England, not far from Ripley, several people saw a rather large marching party. The soldiers were dressed in white and looked real. As it turned out later, a few years earlier, a farmer and his son living nearby had already seen this detachment passing there. But this time the procession was accompanied by women and children carrying various utensils and dishes. The difference was that the soldiers were dressed in red uniforms. The farmer was afraid that it was the Irish army and decided to run away, but when he crossed the moat and turned around to look at the soldiers, they were gone - the vision disappeared.

The spirits that appeared on Mount Souter Fel gained wide popularity. The ghosts appeared a couple of hours before sunset and disappeared with the arrival of darkness. In the period from 1735 to 1745, the mountain was visited by at least a thousand different ghosts. Many journalists tried to explain the strange visions by the fact that Scottish troops conducted their teachings on the western border of Scotland, and thousands of people wandering through the impassable pass are just a reflection of Scottish warriors, which can form in a light mountain fog, which usually covers the mountains precisely in the late afternoon. … The statement looks convincing, and the vision could really only be a reflection of real soldiers, however, the ghosts appeared on the pass at exactly the same time and repeated their route.

On April 6, 1862, one of the largest battles in the history of the American Civil War took place near Shilou, Tennessee. In the battle between the troops of General Johnson on the one hand and the army of General Grant - on the other, more than 24 thousand people died. If you believe the records, the rivers in the vicinity of the battle site remained crimson from the roof for a long time. Today, locals claim that you can still occasionally observe panoramas of that grandiose battle, and at the end of the vision, the water in the rivers takes on a red hue for several hours.

During the Second World War, the German troops who occupied the island of Crete were awakened by an obscure noise: not far from the castle, where the German corps was located, a rather strange army passed. The soldiers in unusual uniforms walked slowly, strictly following the course for the castle. German sentries opened fire, but the bullets flew past the column without causing any harm to the strange warriors. Only after looking closely, the Germans realized that the column was marching over the sea, and those soldiers who reached the end of the castle seemed to evaporate. As it turned out, a major battle between the Turkish and Greek armies took place on this place more than a hundred years ago. Locals claim that from time to time, ghostly soldiers appear over the sea and, reaching the castle, disappear into obscurity.

It is rather difficult to answer the question about the nature of these phenomena. There are many versions, but are they correct? Some scientists believe that ghosts are the souls of restless people whose life was cut off suddenly, including from violent actions, in a battle, for example. The version sounds quite convincing, but one fact remains unexplained: why did eyewitnesses see phantoms of living people in ghost battles (like Prince Rupert)? Another version of the appearance of ghostly panoramas is the fantastic assumption that sometimes we can see faint echoes of events taking place in other temporal and spatial dimensions. This version is supported by the fact that sometimes it happens that people face pictures of the future!

The most reasonable and plausible explanation for all these mysterious events is put forward by some physicists who study these phenomena. According to their version, the entire space surrounding people is filled with certain information, which appears in the form of specific wave vibrations. These vibrations tend to periodically manifest themselves in the form of chronomirages - special optical effects that are a visual display of events that have ever occurred. This display is not always accurate, but quite clear. Wave properties of wave vibrations allow chronomirages to manifest themselves with a strictly defined periodicity. It is these mirages that eyewitnesses observe in the air.
