Croatian music teacher Frane Selak was born in 1929, and he became famous no longer for his professional merits, but for his amazing ability to escape from death in the very last seconds.
According to Frane himself, he has already succeeded 7 times. And, no matter how it seemed, with each subsequent time he did not feel less fear.
The first meeting could have occurred in 1962, when the train that Selak was traveling on fell off the tracks and landed in an icy river. In that disaster, 17 people died, but not a musician - he managed to get ashore, escaping with shock, hypothermia and a broken arm.
The very next year, he fell out of the plane. Depressurization occurred in the cockpit - for some reason the plane door opened. Killed 19 people, and Frane landed on … a haystack. Bottom line: bruising and shock.
Three years later, the man again faced a twist of fate: the bus in which he was traveling to the city of Split fell into the river. As you can already guess, Selak was not among the victims, and again escaped with only cuts and bruises.
In 1970, Frane's car caught fire and he managed to leave it less than a minute before the explosion.
In 1973, history almost repeated itself - the car caught fire on the move, leaving burns on the driver's body and depriving him of hair on his head.
Until the next story, Selak lived quietly for almost 22 years. But it could not last forever - he was hit by a bus. Everything according to the script: fright, shock, bruises.

And a year later - another car accident. Frane managed to jump out of a car flying off a cliff, grabbing a tree at the edge. Almost a hundred meters below him, his car fell and exploded.
Now the lucky one is 89 years old and he is still lucky. After all his trials, he decided to purchase a lottery ticket. Do you already understand how it ended? About a million dollars won from that single ticket, Frané divided between his friends and family. As he himself said: happy without this money.
