Evidence of human abduction by aliens has been recorded on Earth since 1957. Perhaps such cases have occurred before, but they began to be seriously studied from that time. Neither scientists nor psychiatrists can fully explain the stories of people who claimed to have been abducted by aliens.
Currently, a fairly large number of people from all over the world make statements about contact with alien civilizations. The term "spacenaping" has even appeared, meaning "alien abduction." Eyewitnesses tell that they find themselves in strange places filled with a mysterious glow. They usually perceive this room as a room inside an unidentified flying object. Abduction almost always takes place against the will of the people. Most often, women under the age of thirty-five talk about such events in their lives.
Individuals are abducted most frequently, although there is evidence of entire families or small groups of people being taken away by aliens. About 80% of known cases have occurred in the United States, but areas of high UFO activity exist in Britain, South America, as well as Eastern Europe and Australia. Abduction cases are almost unknown in India, China, Japan and the Far East.
Most people have only partial memories of these events. For about half of the victims, post-hypnotic suggestion was required to combine their memories into a coherent whole.
