If representatives of an extraterrestrial civilization visit us, they, according to the scientist, will be so superior to us technologically that they can "dictate the rules."
The name of the SETI project stands for Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, "Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence." It has existed since 1957, and today it is developing quite actively, although at the moment it has not allowed to obtain sufficiently convincing evidence of the existence of alien civilizations. Such evidence is supposed to be messages from brothers in mind. According to astrophysicists, the lack of information about such messages does not necessarily mean that aliens do not exist or that they are not trying to contact us - perhaps the earthlings have not yet found a way to receive and decipher their messages, writes the Daily Mail.
However, if representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations make a decision and find the opportunity to visit Earth "in person", this will most likely lead to the fact that they will take control of the events taking place on the planet. They will be technically superior to Earthlings enough to achieve this without undue difficulty, scientists say. At the same time, researchers are inclined to believe that the seizure will not occur forcibly - most likely, the alien civilization will be peaceful, otherwise it would have destroyed itself, possessing incredibly advanced technologies.
At the same time, astrophysicists believe that earthlings themselves in the foreseeable future will be able to find alien life, although, in all likelihood, these will not be intelligent "green men", but only microorganisms.
By the way, not all researchers agree that alien civilizations exist and are trying to get in touch with us.
