Betty and Bernie Hill's story begins on September 19, 1961. The young couple were returning from vacation to their hometown of Portsmouth. Forecasters foreshadowed a hurricane and the couple drove along a short highway to quickly get home, but according to them, they met there that they would never want to see in their life.
According to the spouses, on the highway, they were attacked by an unknown object, similar to a flying saucer, from above and below, surrounded by flickering lights. After hovering slightly over the car, the object lowered and blocked the movement of the Hill's car.
The flying ship landed so close to the car that the couple made out humanoid creatures inside the ship, and Barney Hill came out and began to examine them through binoculars, and the aliens also looked at people through the window.
From the side of the trunk there was a terrible creak and the couple lost consciousness. The only thing that Betty remembered was how she ended up on the plane of the aircraft, seeing that she was being pulled onto the ship, she began to resist.
Having come to their senses, the couple found themselves in their car and at full speed covered 35 miles to the house in complete silence.
