And it happened as follows. On a warm spring morning, a respected citizen named Alberto Gordoni took a stroll through the courtyard of his vast estate. At that time, Senora Gordoni, Alberto's friend, Count Zenetti, and some other people were in the yard. Suddenly, in front of the amazed audience, the owner of the estate disappeared! The people around were surprised and confused, and his wife fainted. The courtyard was thoroughly examined and even dug up, but it was not possible to establish the reasons for the disappearance of Gordoni. There was not the slightest deepening in the place of disappearance. Where Alberto disappeared remains a mystery to everyone.
Unexpected return
22 years later, a missing citizen appeared at the same place. He appeared as if out of thin air. Concerned townspeople rushed to ask Alberto where he had disappeared, but the man claimed that he did not leave the place. Gordoni was declared insane and placed in a psychiatric clinic, where he spent 7 years.
After this period of time, he spoke with Dr. Mario about the disappearance. And so Alberto told him that 29 years ago he found himself in a long tunnel, through which he managed to get out into the dim light. A strange picture, covered with pulsating stars and dots, opened up to his gaze.

Somehow the man managed to understand that he had fallen into a crevice of space and time, from where it is almost impossible to return. Waiting for his return, Gordoni saw holes of unexplained purpose opening in the dark, alien and own thoughts in the form of white spots, capable of moving with incredible speed, souls freed from bodies, soulless bodies, flying cities in which ageless immortal inhabitants live. And then he saw that he was in his yard. The man was adamant that he had been absent for only a few hours. The doctor took the town dweller's story seriously and decided to carefully examine the scene.
What a shock he experienced when, finding himself in the ill-fated place, Gordoni disappeared again and, unfortunately, forever. Believing in the existence of the devil, the doctor ordered a high wall to be erected around the cursed place. Later, this place became known as the "Devil's Trap" or "Devil's Trap".
