Marine life experts are perplexed by a find recently found on a beach in Perth, Australia.

A local woman, walking with her dog on the morning of August 3, saw something on the sand that seemed to her to be a part of a living organism.

A woman named Amanda first pushed the object slightly with her foot, and then began to look at it better.

The grayish-green object was about 15 centimeters long and looked like "shark skin".

Amanda told her father about the find and he suggested that it might be the famous whale ambergris, which is used in perfumery.

To check whether it is ambergris, you need to stick a hot needle into the piece. If it is ambergris, it will flow like hot wax and darken a lot. The next morning, Amanda and her father came to the beach and did a needle experiment. But the object did not start to melt or change in color.

Amanda tried to search the internet for images of sea creatures, but all she found was a sea cucumber, which the object looked only vaguely like. She is also not sure if this is the contents of a whale stomach.

When photographs of the object were shown to various marine life experts, one of them suggested that it might be the insides of a sea urchin. Another suggested that it was something of the kind of tunicates.

At the moment, the object is still unidentified and it is not yet clear whether laboratory tests have been done about it.
