Over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which separates the Arabian Peninsula from the African continent, the appearance of a mysterious glow has been noticed several times recently.
The Bab el-Mandeb Strait is actively used for shipping - there are many sea routes, ships from all countries daily sail along this route from the Red Sea to the Indian Ocean. It was from the board of ships plying in local waters that signals began to come in about an unusual glow appearing in the sky. Recently, several cases of observation of strange anomalies have already been recorded.
It is characteristic that the lights appeared only in cloudy weather. For this reason, they were often mistaken for ball lightning - a rare occurrence, but not at all anomalous. However, ufologists, having analyzed the circumstances of observation and descriptions of eyewitnesses, have recently been more and more inclined to believe that unidentified flying objects have intensified their activity over the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. The reason why UFOs drew attention to this region has not yet been established.
