The Taganay National Park near the town of Zlatoust attracts thousands of tourists from all over the country. On December 30, 1947, a transport plane crashed into the rocky wall of the ridge, en route from Chelyabinsk to Moscow and crashed on the southeastern slope. The impressions are doubly strengthened by the distant flashes of lightning and the luminous blue of the sky, which has not yet been covered by continuous darkness with a grid of stars.
Night is the most favorable time for mysterious phenomena. Mysterious only at first glance. Once, my comrades and I were lucky to be at the right moment under the Responsive Crest, when the perfectly clear night sky began to illuminate silent lightning-like flashes. The highest point of the entire Taganay mountain range is Kruglitsa (1178 meters above sea level). Earlier, the people called it the "Bashkir hat" because of the similarity to the Türkic headdress of a conical shape. Although the clouds were gradually enveloping Taganai, the day remained hot and sunny, and the air floated strongly. That is why I was lucky to observe the interesting effect of the mountain swaying created by the streamlined shape of the summit and the close position of the pressurized groundwater. The sun, heating the stones, carries away moisture from the cracks with its warmth, the ascending air currents become transparent, easily mobile, and then it seems that the mountain is about to break away from its foot.
The path to Kruglitsa runs through the "Valley of Fairy Tales" - Sand hills. This is a unique beauty site-saddle of a low-growing coniferous forest with glades and numerous bizarre outliers. The valley is located in the zone of past intense tectonic movements. Among the lonely rocks, a "walking" fog often appears, which also "sings" when it gets stuck in stone cracks and rubs against grains of various strengths. At every step there are spruces without tops, affected by winter and autumn windblows, or even dry trunks. Numerous trees branch out dichotomously as they grow. Such features to one degree or another are found on almost all peaks and slopes of Taganai.
A group of tourists returning from the Itzyl ridge and sitting down to rest on the stones told about an interesting anomaly at its foot. In the local clearing, batteries are quickly discharged, and accordingly, devices (clocks, video cameras, cameras …) refuse to work. Photographs are most often illuminated, and people themselves see anomalous phenomena such as flying glowing balls. Away from Dalniy Taganai, in the valley of Maly Kialim, the Three Brothers rise - magmatic statues 20-50 meters high.
