1902 - in the Gulf of Guinea, near West Africa, the British ship "Fort Salisbury" met with a mysterious object of enormous size. At the beginning, the watchman looked at two red lights above the water surface, and looking through binoculars, he clearly saw a large dark object up to 180 meters in length, at the ends of which the lights were burning.
The watchman called the second mate A. Reimer, and he also saw the mysterious object before he went into the depths of the ocean.
Later, all eyewitnesses came to the conclusion that they saw a certain deep-sea vehicle. Although almost everyone noted the scaly surface of the mysterious object, it never occurred to anyone that they saw an animal unknown to science. Before the object sank around it, water bubbled up, apparently a mechanism was involved.
Reimer described the appearance of this mysterious object in the logbook as "a little frightening." He wrote: “We couldn't see all the details in the dark, but the object was 500-600 feet long with two lights, one on each side. Some mechanism, or perhaps the fins, was making a lot of excitement. We saw that its sides were covered with scales, and then it slowly disappeared from our field of vision."
What could it be? Whose Nautilus did the British see? Not a single country in those days had the opportunity to create an underwater vehicle of such a huge size, and if it did, it would immediately become public. The mention of the scaly surface of the object is very curious, perhaps this is what makes it possible for the mysterious underwater vehicles to develop incredible speeds under water, which simply astounded the sailors in the second half of the twentieth century.
1960, January - Argentine patrol ships discovered in their territorial waters two unknown submarines of gigantic proportions. One of them lay on the ground, and the other circled around her. After unsuccessful attempts to get the submarines to surface, they were pelted with a large number of depth charges.
To the surprise of the Argentines, the submarines not only survived, but surfaced and began to evade pursuit at great speed. They were absolutely fantastic ships. Huge spherical wheelhouses towered over the water, submarine hulls were striking in their incredible shape.

Because these mysterious ships were clearly gaining in speed and rapidly breaking away from the pursuit, the Argentines opened fire on them from all guns. Mysterious submarines immediately went under water. There, something very unusual began to happen to them: the instruments began to show that out of two under the boats, at first there were four, then six … then all these objects developed incredible speed and disappeared into the depths of the Atlantic.
1967 - representatives of Argentina again met a mysterious underwater object. The Argentine merchant ship Naviero was in the waters of the South Atlantic. In the morning, at about ten o'clock, the sailors saw that a cigar-shaped object about forty meters long approached the ship at a shallow depth. The surface of the mysterious apparatus was illuminated by some mysteriously dim glow, constantly changing the range of light.
Here is what was recorded in the logbook of the Argentine ship: “July 20, 1967, 120 miles from the coast of Brazil, 6 hours 15 minutes in the afternoon. Officer Jorge Montoya reported that a strange object had appeared near the ship. Arriving on deck, the captain saw a shining object about 50 feet to starboard. It was cigar-shaped and measured approximately 105-110 feet (36 meters) in length. A powerful bluish-white glow emanated from him, while he did not make absolutely any sounds and did not leave marks on the water. There was no periscope, no handrails, no tower, no superstructures - no protruding parts at all. For a quarter of an hour, the mysterious object moved parallel to the Naviero, then absolutely unexpectedly dived, passed directly under the ship and quickly disappeared into the depths, emitting a bright glow under the water."
The speed of movement of the mysterious object was constantly changing, one could feel its good controllability and maneuverability. Of course, there could be no question that the sailors saw some kind of giant sea animal. According to the descriptions of the sailors, the experts concluded that the Argentines, most likely, met some kind of mysterious submarine, which is not in service with any of the countries in the world.
The Americans also met with the mysterious underwater vehicles. 1963 - during a naval exercise off the coast of Puerto Rico, the Americans discovered an unidentified underwater object moving at an unusually high speed - more than 150 knots - almost 280 km / h! This was three times the maximum speed of the submarines! the mysterious object not only set a speed record, but also made maneuvers at very great depths, several times exceeding the capabilities of modern submarines. At the same time, the object was moving vertically at such a speed, accompanied by a huge increase in pressure, that if it were a creation of our technology, it would simply be torn to pieces …
Much more dramatic events took place during the maneuvers of the US Navy in the Pacific Ocean near Indonesia, where depths reach 7,500 meters. During the maneuvers, acoustics recorded noise from the submarine, which differed from the noise of the boats that took part in the maneuvers. Of course, such a circumstance did not fit into the plans of the American command at all, and therefore one of the submarines was sent to approach an unidentified boat. But such an attempt to squeeze the stranger out of the maneuvering zone ended tragically - an American submarine collided with an unknown submarine.
As a result, the strongest underwater explosion occurred. According to the data obtained from the locators of neighboring ships, both submarines sank. Since the American ships that took part in the maneuvers had equipment for carrying out rescue operations at great depths, a rescue team was launched, the primary task of which was to search for any debris and objects from an unknown submarine.
The team was able to lift several pieces of metal, some of which resembled fragments of the periscope of an ordinary submarine, among them was a piece that looked like a fragment of a sheet of casing. The search for the fragments of the dead submarines had to be stopped a few minutes after the finds were lifted aboard the flagship; the fleet acoustics reported that fifteen unidentified submarines were approaching the crash site. One of the objects was about 200 meters long!
The frightened naval command immediately gave the order to suspend maneuvers and not respond to any actions of a potential enemy. Submarines that appeared from nowhere tightly blocked the crash site, creating something like a "dome" inaccessible to any type of locator. One of the American submarines nevertheless made an attempt to get closer to the crash site, but all of its instruments unexpectedly failed, and with great difficulty it managed to make an emergency ascent.
Of course, an attempt was made to make contact with unknown submarines, but it was unsuccessful. One of the unidentified submarines separated from the rest of the submarines and circled under the ships of the Americans, as a result, all of them stopped working all the locators, devices and communications. After she had retired a considerable distance, all the instruments started working again.
Only a few hours later, the signals of mysterious submarines disappeared from the radar screens. Of course, a new attempt was made to examine the collision site, as it turned out, not only the wreckage of a foreign submarine, but also the remains of an American submarine, disappeared from the crash site. At the disposal of the Americans were only the fragments that they could pick up so quickly. Their research was carried out in the CIA laboratories, and it was concluded that the composition of the metal of one of the fragments is not known, and some of the chemical elements in it are not familiar to modern science at all. After that, any information about this incident was classified.
1965, January - Pilot Bruce Cathy, flying over the harbor of Kaipar, north of Helensville in New Zealand, noticed a strange object below, which at first glance looked like a whale. Looking more closely, the pilot concluded that underneath was a submarine about 100 feet long of an odd design. He reported this to the services of the New Zealand Navy, but he was told that the object could not be a submarine in any way, since there are no submarines in this area, and even after low tide in this area it is quite small.
As you can see, the pilot observed one of the mysterious submarines of the inhabitants of the ocean.
1972 - Norwegian patrol ships discovered an unknown submarine in the territorial waters of their country. All attempts to get in touch with her and determine her affiliation ended in nothing. It was amazing that the unknown submarine was moving at a speed of about 150 knots (250-280 km / h)! This is despite the fact that the maximum permissible speed of the most modern nuclear submarines reaches only 80 km / h.
Having received no response to their inquiries, the Norwegians, together with the NATO fleet patrol, attempted to destroy the submarine. After the fired volley, the mysterious submarine almost instantly sank to a depth of about 3,000 meters and disappeared from the radar screens. It should be noted that the maximum immersion depth of nuclear submarines does not exceed 2,000 meters, so all attempts to blame the Soviet Union for this incident ended in failure.
One should not think that after the 60s and 70s of the twentieth century, strange objects ceased to be observed in the oceans and seas, they just began to increasingly associate their origin with aliens. Is this true? It is unlikely, although, of course, alien ships can also contribute to the statistics of observations of mysterious underwater objects.
