China has deliberately hidden or destroyed evidence of the coronavirus outbreak, which has claimed tens of thousands of lives, according to a dossier prepared by concerned Western governments over the COVID-19 infection.
A 15-page research paper obtained by The Saturday Telegraph lays the groundwork for a negligence lawsuit against China.
It says the Chinese government hid news of the virus by silencing or “disappearing” doctors who spoke out, destroying evidence of its presence in laboratories and refusing to provide live samples to international vaccine scientists.
On December 31, Chinese authorities began censoring news about the virus from local search engines, removing terms such as SARS Variations, Wuhan Seafood Market, and Wuhan SARS.
Doctors who boldly spoke out about the new virus were detained and convicted. Their arrests were broadcast on Chinese state media calling for the Wuhan police, "All citizens should not invent rumors, spread rumors, or believe rumors."
A January 2 Global Times report said: “Police in central Wuhan China have arrested 8 people who were spreading rumors of a local outbreak of unidentified pneumonia. It was just ordinary SARS. This was intended to silence other doctors who may have been inclined to speak out.
The report notes a 2013 study by a group of virologists, including Dr. Shi, who collected fecal samples from horseshoe bats in a cave in Yunnan, China and where the mouse virus was later found to contain 96.2% of the SARS-identical virus structure. -CoV-2, which caused COVID-19.
This research dossier also refers to the work done by the SARS-like coronavirus synthesis team to analyze if they can be transmitted from bats to mammals. This means that they modified parts of the virus to check if it was transmitted to different species.
The Wuhan lab has had security and personnel issues since 2018.
