In the western part of Switzerland, they managed to capture a mysterious "soldier" who has been wandering through the forest for about 15 years in a camouflage coat and a gas mask on his head.
Locals claim that the mysterious figure, which they call "Le Loyon", walks the same route every day.
Now the police are trying to find an unknown person to ask him to behave less threatening, although before that he had never shown any signs of aggression.
An amateur photographer who managed to track down the “soldier” said: “I met him during my walk. I approached him at a distance of ten meters. He was wearing a military raincoat, boots and an army gas mask - the old model, it seemed to me."
“He was about 1.9 meters tall. He stared at me, then turned his back to me and silently proceeded on."
Other residents living in the area also decided to share their stories of an alleged meeting with a stranger.

One woman said, “It scared my children. He came out of the forest in his military attire. We could not see either his face or his eyes behind his large and dark gas mask.
Another local Moll resident, Marianne Desscloux, said: “It was a rainy Sunday. He was wearing a cap, a dark cloak and a gas mask. What's in his head? I dont know. It was unpleasant. I hope I never cross with him again."
Some people claim that this unusual person is holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
One farmer added, "Families just won't go to the forest anymore."
Also, many people call this character the Swiss answer to the Loch Ness monster.
Guy Savary, a local municipal official in charge of forests, says: “This is a delicate situation because we basically have nothing against this man. But since he awakens these fears, we are going to hold a meeting to see if we can find a way to find him and prevent him from behaving the way he does."
