One of the paranormal places in Russia is the "Devil's Swamp", located not far from the Ural city of Miass. And even if this place is not indicated on the map in any way, this swampy area received such a name because of various mysterious anomalies that occur here quite often.
It is very difficult to get close to this place, as it is surrounded by a dense spruce forest. A vague incomprehensible feeling of anxiety and fear can overwhelm you if you suddenly decide to walk around this area. Locals tell terrible stories about evil spirits and sabbaths, while others claim that on certain days, approaching this place, a person may experience a severe headache. Scary stories and secrets cause both fear and interest in this place!
According to the stories of local residents, several times a year strange flashes and glow in the form of balls of various diameters occur in the sky over this place. The swamp is illuminated by an incomprehensible, but very intense light, and on such a night the animals in the nearby villages behave extremely not calmly, the equipment and machinery hangs and refuses to work.
Another anomalous swampy area is known as the "Long Plow" and is located in the Kostroma region. There, people saw the same glowing balls. According to the parapsychologist Konstantin Filimonov, this area can serve as a kind of platform for unidentified flying objects. People who accidentally find themselves in such a place are completely lost in reality, because even the temporal parameters change their usual rhythm there. They tell a story about two women who got lost there. One of them was found, but only a month later. She could not explain anything intelligible as she was in shock. The second was found by summer residents and she said that trying to get out of this area, she simply wandered in a circle and every time she was hindered by some invisible wall, which did not allow her to go out to people.
All peoples have a special opinion about swamps and it seems there are reasons for this. These places have a special eerie energy, nevertheless there are many daredevils who are ready to organize expeditions to explore such places. We can only wish them good luck, because who knows how many secrets are still kept in the Devil's Marshes!
